The motion capture 3D film is directed by Steven Spielberg and produced by Peter Jackson. Edgar Wright, Steven Moffat and Joe Cornish wrote the script.

Film hits theatres on December 23, 2011!

Wolvie: Quite a cast and crew behind this one, ha? I read couple of comic books when I was younger and it was pretty good. But with people behind this, I will definitely see it...What do you think?

Wonder who that prison escapee is?!

Spielberg looking guy in the second picture is Silk the pocket thief! Voiced by Toby Jones (Arnim Zola in Captain America movie, Truman Capote in Infamous)

This is my most anticipated film of 2011!:)

I just can't get excited about this. Its Tin Tin. I mean I never liked it as a kid but that's probably because it seemed about as interesting as watching Cash In The Attic! I'll give this a chance though.

I LOVE Cash in the Attic!!!

Celebrity special this coming monday Ror ;o)

Anyway - interesting to note that two thirds of the writing team of this are writing Antman.

Maybe they can also get Moffat on board for that one? ;o)

CLEAN GRAPHICS, THATS WHY SPEILBERG IS A AWSOME..HE KNOWS HIS SHET.

MOTION CAPTURE IS WAY BETTER CG THAT THAN ANIMATING CG, IT LOOKS MORE REAL, AND SERKIS IS IN IT(PROLLY CAUSE OF THE PETER JACKSON AFFILIATION) , THIS IS GOING TO BE AWSOME.

So true I love motion capture. It may be the only way to ever bring Frank Herbert's Dune back to the big screen.

Ror@ This is exactly the problem in entertainment nowadays! There is so much over the edge going action, and adventure movies, that this kind of classic stories doesnt get us excided anymore!
Im pretty sure this is going to get over the edge action treatment too thou! Cause its Spielberg we are talking about!

Tintin comics were the best! This movie is never going to beat it or even get in its level thats for sure, but still im excited to see Tintin in the big screen!

This wasn't really on my radar, but you gotta admit its got some serious talent behind it. I suspect it will be fantastic. Plus, that kid has a gun. You just don't see that enough in movies.

MarkCassidy - 12/30/2010, 7:16 AM
That's nothing to do with it for me Alex. It doesn't take big action blockbuster stuff to excite me for a film at all, its just that Tin Tin was about a little boy in shorts and his dog solving crimes with a big bearded bloke! haha, i'm sure it was good when you actually made the effort to read it, I'm just saying that on first glance I was never interested enough to continue.

I have read some Tin Tin , and I must admit .....I just don't get it ; I don't understand why this is such a beloved character.

but......Spielberg ,Bell ,Frost ,Pegg ?? that's a helluva lineup and the pics look really really good.
this could be a fun movie.

Ror@ Yeah well some people dig and some dont!:) But i really believe that nowadays its hard to impress anyone with this kind of little stories!:)
But yeah i admit it. Its basically just a young dude, his dog and alcoholic crazy Captain solving crimes. It really makes you wonder why it is a beloved character, like RastaZen said?
But some people like simple things!... Like me!:)

Lookin forward the movie and i hope Spielberg and Jackson gives it justice! Pictures look promising
