Well lets see anyone with intelligence can see that Boom Bays track record is that this is going to suck and or fail. You can go ahead and come to terms with this now... OR you can keep living in your fantasy land that some how a magical force beyond our comprehension is going to pull a rabbit trick out of Bays ass. I prefer to stick with reality and just acknowledge this is the last time he will do these movies and we get a reboot with someone that has a more creative mind that that of a 5 year old who thinks explosions are pretty.

First film was pretty good for what it was, I enjoyed it. Second one was a steaming pile of shit. I have never seen two directly related movies differ so much in quality. So who knows, maybe the Baytard pulls another one out of his ass..but then again, Spielberg won't be holding his hand on this one, just like he wasn't on the last one.

bay may not make great movies but he did get cullen for the voice of PRIME....

Wow that looks like an explosion happened, didn't see that one coming. Movies like these need to be overseen by a committee of directors like Steven Spielberg and Chris Nolan. That way Bay and Shamalangadingdong can't ruin good films.

UncleDrew - 7/17/2010, 6:02 PM
Even if this movie sucks again, it ain't gonna matter you know why??? Because it is still going to make a lot of money because people who are complaining and what not are still going to go watch it, think about it guys...
optimus69
optimus69 - 7/17/2010, 6:06 PM
this movie like the other 2 are produced by steven speilberg....
jshark
jshark - 7/17/2010, 6:12 PM
There's a difference in Producing and Directing. Just like how Spielberg helped Produce the latest Indiana Jones, he wasn't helping direct. Like when he told Lucas not to do aliens and Lucas came back and said "ok they're not aliens, they're inter-dimensional beings." As a directorial committee they could say yes or no to ideas. Let's face it Bay obviously has full control over this movie.

Bay has full control of the movie because it made a ton of money even though it bit. As such, we are going to get more of the same shoveled in our faces no matter how much we hope that he's learnt a lesson of some sort. I don't mean to be a downer, but this falls under a "prove me people didn't like it" arguement. Money talks dudes.

I see there is a possibility of an explosion in TF3. AWESOME.

Well my IQ is well above 50 and most othersnIQs for that matter, and I like these movies and I see them for what they are. I say it alot because these movie have gotten such a bad wrap from "SOME" fans, not all. The movies are just movies and both and the 3rd will make lots of cash, and I will be there with my family paying to see it in 2D not 3.

And all the haters that come to bash will still pay to see it and bash it.
W4RDude87
W4RDude87 - 7/18/2010, 6:03 AM
Expect more of this for TF3.
-Stupid sex comedy humor, eg. dogs humping.
-Shia stuttering all the time.He did a lot of that in the last two movies.
-Close up shots of hot asses, and cleavage(I actually don't mind that)
-More badass army guys, doing badass stuff.
-More insane robot fighting.
-More stuff blowing up.
Yep that pretty much sums up the last two movies.I don't hate these movies, I just don't think they're that good.
Thor, Captain America, and The Green Lantern will rule the summer of 2011!
optimus69
optimus69 - 7/18/2010, 10:58 AM
you have thirty foot robots with missles guns and connons how do you not have friken explosions. do you want them to f***ing pillow fight for god sake...
Ven0m
Ven0m - 7/18/2010, 11:16 AM
Pillow fighting would be to much of a upgrade of creativity for Boom Bay. All there is are explosions and Stuttering Stanley who says the word NO like 1,000 times per movie. Seriously guys if you like this movie I am sorry then you dont have a brain. Will I pay to see this. Nope Ill wait to rent then ya will see it then. Once a REAL director and producer gets a hold of this franchise then you will all see what real Transformers could have been the first time around.
optimus69
optimus69 - 7/18/2010, 11:22 AM
there will still be masive explosions its an interstellar war that destroyed their planet why wouldnt they try to destroy ours...
Ven0m
Ven0m - 7/18/2010, 1:11 PM
Not saying there shouldnt be explosions. However thats all Boom Bay does. Shitty stories and actors. They just plain suck. I bet we dont even [frick]ing get Unicron.

Until the 2nd movie came out, no one talked shit on Bay. I almost feel bad for him lol. I'll still see this movie cause I love Transformers in general, so I'm a guaranteed ass in a seat for them. People need to stop overreacting about a movie they pretend they don't care about. Just leave it alone already. When it comes out, then THEN you can bash away if it's terrible.

Haters/Some Members- "OMG Chad, that's so hard for me I don't know if I can be fair!"

@Intruder X: It made $402,111,870 domestically and $836,297,228 worldwide. It was the fourth-highest grossing film of 2009, so yeah it made money...

I actually liked these movies...and i'm looking forward to the third one. alot of people don't like it because it has too much explosions??? its an ACTION movie, what do u's want?? it had a nice blend of action, boobs n ass lol, and some mild humour which yeh it was quite simple but still humour non the less. if yer gonna b*tch n moan about an action movie having to much action then i guess u jst can't be pleased. peace!

First order of business - @ all Bay haters:
Stfu. You know you love his movies. You know his movie are fun as hell. You wanna know how I know? Look at the shit load of money each movie made -
Bad Boys - $141,407,024
The Rock - $335,062,621
Armageddon - $553,709,788
Pearl Harbor - $449,220,945
Bad Boys II - $273,339,556
The Island - $162,949,164
Transformers - $709,709,780
Transformers:Revenge of the Fallen - $836,297,228
You know what I see when I look at that list? Blockbuster, blockbuster, blockbuster, blockbuster, blockbuster, blockbuster, blockbuster, and once again blockbuster. 8 blockbusters in a row. You think people would go see his movies if they were that bad? OBVIOUSLY hes doing something right. They may not be perfect but they are MOST DEFINITELY not the steaming piles of shit you make them out to be. You may for some unknown reason actually hate him and everything he does and not be a troll but guess what, your in the minority.
Just look at the RT Community approval rating each movie has on Rottentomatoes.com (Ratings in the same order as list above) - 79%, 85%, 77%, 73%, 80%, 41%, 89%, 76%. In comparison look at a director who actually is becoming a worse director: M. Night Shyamalan. Look at the RT User approval ratings for his movies starting with his first blockbuster The Sixth Sense - 87%
Unbreakable - 73%
Signs - 65%
The Village -
Lady in the Water - 59%
The Happening - 29%
The Last Airbender - 49%
Fans approval ratings have dropped for his movies unlike Bay's whose have stayed pretty much the same.

Now for the second part of my comment which is directed
@ jshark -

You said: "Movies like these need to be overseen by a committee of directors like Steven Spielberg..."

I Say: Who the hell do you think was overseeing the Transformers movies?!?! Speilberg was thats who!

You Said: "There's a difference in Producing and Directing. Just like how Spielberg helped Produce the latest Indiana Jones, he wasn't helping direct."

I say: Are you shitting me? seriously. You've got to be [frick]ing kidding me. Speilberg has directed ALL, let me repeat that, ALL of the Indiana Jones movies. Thats just common sense dude.

@ TrollHunter - You're the one that needs to STFU...

where are you getting your so called "facts" from.

"Just look at the RT Community approval rating each movie has on Rottentomatoes.com (Ratings in the same order as list above) - 79%, 85%, 77%, 73%, 80%, 41%, 89%, 76%"

Not one of those numbers are correct for his movies - Transformers 2 with 76% approval rating??? WTF-ever...

Don't listen to this freaking troll...he's a tool...Bay's movie rate worth s**t - here's the proof

You must not use the internet that often. Each and every single one of my facts is correct. Those approval ratings are based straight from rottentomatoes.com. That link you posted some of Bay's movies and the percentages next to them are the CRITICS approval rating which for RotF currently stands at a 20% while the RT COMMUNITY approval rating stands at 76%. I'll give you a lesson on how to use RT (rottentomatoes in case you didn't know). Each page for a movie has a tab for T-Meter Critics (Which displays all critics reviews and gives a synopsis of what a majority of those critics thought of the movie), Top Critics (Which only gives a percentage from the most respected critics), RT Community (Which gives a percentage of the reviews that anyone who signed up for the website and reviewed the movie). Now that I've tought you about the wonders of RT lets move onto lesson 2: The Definition of a Troll. According to Urban Dictionary a Troll is "One who purposely and deliberately (that purpose usually being self-amusement) starts an argument in a manner which attacks others on a forum without in any way listening to the arguments proposed by his or her peers. He will spark of such an argument via the use of ad hominem attacks (i.e. 'you're nothing but a fanboy' is a popular phrase) with no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue."
Now lets look at the last sentence of that description. "...no substance or relevence to back them up as well as straw man arguments, which he uses to simply avoid addressing the essence of the issue." Now I may not be a scholar or anything but I'm damn sure that my previous statement had substance, relevance, addressed the issue and were most definitely not "Strawman Arguments" (Seeing as how inexperienced you are with the internet, here is a link explaining a "Strawman Argument" - http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Strawman%20Arguments.) Next time, get the facts right.
