Just like Green Lantern we found ourselves split pretty much down the middle when it comes to Michael Bay's latest. But these poll results show that the majority of you guys loved the damn thing. With 802 votes over 32% of you thought the movie was "awesome" and only slightly less of you felt it was very good. I was kinda hoping to see more votes for the last option myself:)

i thought it was watchable,some very bad bits but good special effects & action. 3/5

802 votes thought it was awesome,some people will except any old shit.

these people have got transformers quilt cover & wallpaper. :D

It was a passable movie. That's all. Better than Revenge though.

My favorite bit was when it just cut to Megatron sitting around like a [frick]ing bum in the street with no explanation, and he is then goaded into joining the fight by the talking sex doll.

hahahahaha!i saw it in 3d on wednesday,it was good but alot of it was abit shit.

the action & cgi was great,but it was the bits inbetween that could of had some work done to it.

loved the scene on the highway where they looked like big cats running knocking cars out of the way.

as for the 3d i thought was great but it was my first 3d film so i couldn't really compare it too anything else.

bring on the amazing spider-man 3d.

My favorite part was the collapsing building power sliding scene. Jump through the glass.....(slide).......shoot through the glass.......(slide)........it was like a slip n'slide to the third power. the wing suit flying scenes were cool too.

I loved the movie. I saw it July 2nd, at 9:20 am and the theater was packed. people were applauding at the end. I loved the action, the acting was decent, Ken Jeong was hilarious, Sentinel Prime was AWESOME!!! just a good, summer popcorn movie.

btw, we don't need so much opinion in the article Ror. save it for the comments section.

Ror@ I know! That scene was rediculous! I actually remember thinking, as Rose started talking, are they really going to do this. Megatron is really going to fall for this...REALLY!! And of course he did!

I liked it. I actually cared about some of the characters and wanted to see how it ended.

Plus, the action sequences were truly jaw-dropping.

@Ror - Yea, Roseie goading Megatron was dumb, but he was there because Sentinel put him in his place...

I've come to understand that trying to explain to someone who doesn't like Transformers why I think it was awesome is like trying to explain to someone who has been blind their whole lives why watching fireworks is cool... lol

Completely off subject... I just watched X1-3 the other day, and X2 and even X3(besides killing off half the cast) were actually pretty damn awesome! Am I the only one that thought they were better than First class...?

@RorMachine - The reason Rosie had the initiative to goad Megatron into attacking Sentinel Prime was because she earlier saw Megatron being put in his place by Sentinel Prime through the telescope on Patrick Dempsey's Penthouse. And Megs was sitting around because he was still battered from his beating by Prime in Revenge of the Fallen.

It's not supposed to be Shakespeare or rocket science but for a film based on a TOY, it makes simple sense and that's all it needs to do.

i just saw this last night in IMAX 3D. i was impressed by the efx. the final battle scenes were nice. did anyone else feel like a hidden message was being said to Megan Fox during the parts of the script when they kept drooling all over the new chick an how much better she is than Megan?

I would like to clarify something about this particular article:

Firstly, what Ror says about the public opinion of this movie In General is very much true. I have seen every single possible opinion expressed about this movie and practically each and Every single detail. Some like it, some don't. Everyone seems to have their own personal opinion regarding it. Now that having been said it is also very true to say:

1) The movie critics generally Hated it while
2) The Reviews posted on This particular website have been generally favorable. If this site had it's own Rotten Tomatoes the freshness factor for it would be much higher. Also, the poll results are Clearly weighted more towards the positive end of the critical spectrum so I think characterizing them as "split down the middle" and comparison to Green Lantern in that sense is clearly unwarranted.

Ceejay, dude I got the movie's dumb logic, what I mean was it didn't flow properly. It wasn't a good enough link to a scene it just appeared out of nowhere because both the director and his editors don't give a shit about making a good movie, only about how many people will pay to see their movie..and judging by this poll we will all be happy to swallow whatever shit Hollywood spoons us well into the future. "Based on a toy" is the most ridiculous excuse I have heard yet. Why the hell do you keep going over the same old "Shakespeare" argument? I already told you I'm not comparing the damn movie to high art, even in the confines of it's genre(action adventure/sci-fi) it STILL sucked!
