New TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT Poster Goes Full On Medieval

Transformers: The Last Knight is really playing up the fact that the Autobots and Decepticons have been on Earth for centuries and this cool new poster takes us right back to Medieval times...

Yesterday, Michael Bay released an action-packed TV spot for Transformers: The Last Knight which shed some light on the role played by Autobots and Decepticons in Earth's storied history. Now, a new poster emphasises that by taking us back to Medieval times with a character who appears to have been newly created for the film (feel free to correct me on that in the comments section down below).

Set to be released on June 23rd this year, Transformers: The Last Knight will feature the return of Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager as well as new roles for Isabela Moner and Jerrod Carmichael. With Bay back in the director’s chair, the screenplay for the movie was written by Iron Man's Art Marcum and Matt Holloway along with Ken Nolan (Black Hawk Down). Plot details are currently being kept under wraps, but it wouldn't be all that surprising if the studio is planning spinoffs set at some point in the past.

Call me a Purist, but, I just do not likw the idea that they have been on Earth farther back in time than when Optimus and the Autobots crashed there in the original story.

@Gamerbot64 - Call me a Purist, but, I just do not like the idea that they now look like men in suits or when they looked like overly-designed piles of shit than when Optimus and the Autobots looked like they were supposed to in the original G1 cartoon.

@tylerzero - but this isn't g1, its another iteration of a franchise of constant reinvention. Not saying you should like em, but you should see beast machines, those designs make this look downright traditional

@NathimusPrime - Beast Wars was the best Transformer storyline ever made

@tylerzero - THANK YOU!! I also am wondering that. I want something similar to the WFC games or IDW comicbooks

Dark souls?

Y'know, if this gets decent reviews, I might watch it as a rental later. I like the (ridiculous) premise.

But if I haven't seen the past two transformers will I be lost? Oh wait, idc.

T4: They've been here since the dinosaurs
T5: They've been here since medieval times AND WWII
T6: God is a Transformer

We know Optimus and his team have only been on earth a couple years, but almost all of the movies have shown other Transformers here since before the dawn of man. So how come this movie they are pushing this angle so hard? It's nothing new. A bad Prime is nothing new either. This movie will show us the third one, out of five films. Come on writers room, you can do better than this.
