Old-school Cartoon Network fans are sure to get equally nostalgic and hyped after watching a new teaser for the Samurai Jack revival that premiere's next month. After over a decade, pretty much all of the show's original fan base had given up on a continuation and the long-rumored live-action adaptation before Cartoon Network surprised everyone with an announcement that the show was coming back. With a new season on the way, do you think there will be renewed interest in the live-action film?
The show is currently in production in Los Angeles and will premiere on Cartoon Network's Saturday Night Adult Swim programming block on March 11, 2017.
About Samurai Jack
Samurai Jack in an American cartoon TV series created by Genndy Tartakovsky that aired on Cartoon Network from 2001 to 2004, consisting of 52 episodes. The story follows Jack, a classic samurai from feudal Japan who's flung into the distant future by an evil wizard-demon named Aku. The series picks up from there as Jack seeks a way to return to his own time and undo the nightmarish future Aku created in his absence. On December 2015, after 11 years, Cartoon Network made an official announcement that the show would be returning to finish Jack's story.
