Executive producer Eric Kripke (Supernatural) revealed last night that Patton Oswalt (A.P. Bio) has joined the cast of Amazon Prime Video's hit superhero drama, The Boys, in a top secret role.

While we await further details, Oswalt is the latest addition to the season two cast, joining fellow newcomers Aya Cash (You're the Worst) as Stormfront, Goran Višnjić (Timeless) as Alistair Adana and Claudia Doumit (Timeless) as Victoria Neuman. Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad) and Malcolm Barrett (Timeless) have also been confirmed to reprise their roles as Mr. Edgar and Seth Reed, respectively.

Billy Butcher's (Karl Urban) dog Terror is also expected to have a more prominent role to play next year.

The fan-favorite series is a live-action adaptation of the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comic of the same name, and was adapted for Amazon by executive producers Seth Rogen (Long Shot; Preacher) and Eric Kripke (Supernatural; Timeless).

THE BOYS is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It's the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about "The Seven," and their formidable Vought backing.

The Boys features:
Karl Urban as Billy Butcher
Elisabeth Shue as Madelyn Stillwell
Laz Alonso as Mother's Milk
Jack Quaid as "Wee" Hughie Campbell
Karen Fukuhara as Female
Tomer Kapon as Frenchie
Erin Moriarty as Annie January/Starlight
Antony Starr as The Homelander
Dominique McElligott as Queen Maeve
Jessie Usher as A-Train
Chace Crawford as The Deep
Nathan Mitchell as Black Noir
Jennifer Esposito as CIA Agent Susan Raynor
Simon Pegg as Hugh Campbell
Shantel VanSanten as Becca Butcher
Aya Cash as Stormfront
Malcolm Barret as Seth Reed
Goran Višnjić as Alistair Adana
Claudia Doumit as Victoria Neuman
Giancarlo Esposito as Mr. Edgar

I honestly didn't finish the first season. I guess it just wasn't for me. It wasn't bad or anything like that it just didn't hold my attention like that. I just didn't find myself interested like that

It took me five minutes to be able to comment. These ads and pop ups are getting outrageous

I loved the series when it first came out, however I've tried to rewatch it... but I just, can't?

It becomes really predictable for some reason and gets boring. Idk. Also, the praise for Anthony Starr is overrated, for as good as he was.

With this and Joker, I think people are honestly just relishing whatever "divergence" from (and within) the genre that they can... But I feel it's blinding people as well.
