Big news today for Fear the Walking Dead fans, as AMC has not only announced when the second half of season six will begin airing, but they also revealed that three new actors will be joining the cast for the new episodes!
AMC announced today that the second half of Fear the Walking Dead season six will return on Sunday, April 11th for nine new episodes. Subscribers to the AMC+ streaming service will get access to the episodes early, similar to what they are doing with The Walking Dead episodes.
The three new actors that will be joining the cast for the upcoming episodes are John Glover (The Good Wife, Smallville, Scrooged), Nick Stahl (Carnivale, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, Sin City), and Keith Carradine (Madam Secretary, Fargo, Deadwood). Which characters they will play in the series remains a mystery.
Aisha Tyler (CSI, Roswell NM, Axis) has also stepped into the director's chair for episode 613 of the season.
To celebrate all of the good news, AMC released a little teaser video:
As Morgan’s (Lennie James) bid to free the remaining members of the group becomes bolder, Virginia (Colby Minifie) grows increasingly desperate to find her sister and protect the settlements from forces working inside and outside her walls. The second half of Season Six reveals the impact of what living under Virginia’s control has done to each person in this group, who once saw themselves as a family. New alliances will be formed, relationships will be destroyed, and loyalties forever changed. When everyone is forced to take sides, they discover the meaning of, “The End is the Beginning.”'
