In the highly anticipated new season, we find Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and the group fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Season 4 also introduces several new characters including Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr., "The Wire").

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, and David Morrissey.

If next weeks episode plays out somewhat like the comics but they change a few things I see it like that:

They will attack the prison and as in the comics The Governor will order a woman named Lilly, which coincidentally is the name of the woman he is being with on the show, to kill Judith.

But unlike the comic she will not kill the baby and have a change of heart, but keeping with the comic she will be disgusted by what he ordered her to do and shoot him in the head killing him.

What do u guys think of that scenario?

Progressively boring. I hope something starts to happen. For the first time ever, I waited til the last minute to watch the latest episode. I used to stay up to watch it when I should be getting rest for work.

Now, I have to remember it's on. =(

@ Neo

I usually agree with all your opinions, but I personally feel the show is getting better not just relying on gore feast to move the series along.

Judging from the promo with michonne and Herschel outside the prison, I'm guessing that Herschel is going to take tyreeses place in the comics and get beheaded by the governor with michonnes sword when rick won't let them in.

God am I the only one that doesn't like the Governor story line. I just wanted the show to be more about Surviving. I want the prison to fall so they can get back to trying to barely survive on the Road. I want the show to be more about the Zombie threat. Seriously these Governor episode are just irritating. I want to get back to worrying about whether my favorite characters are going die or not.

in the first promo he says, "they'll notice their people are gone"

so does that spoil that he'll take one or both of Herschel and Michonne?

I enjoyed the episode. The only thing that I didn't find believable was the guy becoming loyal to the Governor after he killed his brother.

There's a split second shot in the promo around 00:21-00:22 where Hershel is standing by the trailer where he was with Michonne at the end of this weeks episode, except this shot is from a different angle and in the spot where Michonne was standing is an unidentified arm drawing on Hershel. I'm assuming this arm is The Governor's. The question is: Where is Michonne? She isn't in her spot.

Killing off Michonne is something nobody would see coming.

Last episode was fantastic. The show keeps getting better.
The Gov is waaaaay more dangerous than any zombies.
The point of this show is to see how humans behave in this terrible, desperate new world.
Will the good of humanity survive or our worse instincts take over? Great stuff.

@DarkArts. I thought it was obvious that another group killed that camp off. Governor was with the other two the whole time and where did the supplies go? The reason governor went off and killed the leader is because due to his inaction they lost the chance at more supplies and another group came in and killed the camp

This is about to get really interesting..
Governor storms the prison, some escape, some die, Beth and Judith get killed, the governors GF kills him for killing Beth and Judith, Rick and Carl meet up with Abraham at the end of the episode.

Just a thought of what could possibly happen.

I found it hard to believe that the brother would back the Governor also. But then I thought about how in this world is ALL about survival and living day to day. The brother (lake zombie) had already demonstrated that he didnt have what was needed to survive. Family loyalty is all well and good but when you would kill a 10 yr old for a bottle of water. who do you turn to stay alive? great episode , I would love to see Negan Vs. The Governor.
rabid
rabid - 11/25/2013, 7:56 AM
I'm really hoping they leave Negan out of it. The Governor could easily live on and replace Negan in that story, so it will feel less like retread.
I'm actually hoping the show splits off and does something entirely different because I haven't enjoyed the comic in a couple of years.

I'm always up for a hearty round of clopping after a spirited afternoon of lake chainin'!

The Governor needs to die in this next episode. Anyone who hasn't read the comics, 85% of the shows fans, are sick and tired of the Governor. David M has portrayed him greatly but he should've been killed off last season. I really hope there is a lot of death in this episode so it will put Rick back in a full survival state of mind. This show has really left the zombie threat and moved to humans. That bothers me since multiple execs stated that this season the zombie threat would be real.
The fans are ready for the Alexandria arc. Let's get to it.
TelaVizion
TelaVizion - 11/25/2013, 10:01 AM
He should have been dead. If he makes it out of this season still alive, I will stop watching the series.

I got enough seasons out of it to be satisfied.

That bullshit with Martinez and the other guy should have never happened. It's all Rick's fault (sad to say. should have killed him when they had the meeting)
