ARROW: Emily Bett Rickards & Joe Dinicol Both Confirmed To Return For The Series Finale

While this should probably come as no surprise to anyone, Stephen Amell has confirmed today that Emily Bett Rickards will indeed reprise her role as Felicity Smoak for the series finale of Arrow.

After bowing out at the end of season seven and heading off with The Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) to reunite with her long lost husband Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell), it sounds like fans will get to see that reunion realized on-screen as Amell has confirmed today that Emily Bett Rickards will reprise her role as Felicity Smoak for the series finale of Arrow, which is expected to air on January 28, 2020.

Considering that The Monitor made it clear in the seventh season finale that there was no return from wherever he was taking her, it seems quite possible her scene(s) in the finale may only be with Amell, although that's just speculation for now as filming for the finale just got underway yesterday.

While she will appear in the series finale, titled "Fadeout," she is not one of the many special guest stars expected to appear in the upcoming five-part "Crisis on Infinite Earths" mega-crossover.

On another note, Rick Gonzalez revealed late last night that Joe Dinicol will also return for the series finale as Rory Regan, a.k.a. Ragman. He initially appeared in a recurring capacity in season five and returned for a cameo last season.

I am glad they didn't forget about Ragman. Let him stay around for their potential spin-off or just around the Arrowverse. (Or if they wanna revive Constantine's show, he'd make for a good companion)

I actually liked the character of Felicity for the first two seasons, but when she was just the comic relief. The character was ruined by the standard issue CW relationship melodrama that turned her into a petty, whiny, brat who was annoying beyond belief.

Awesome news, it wouldnt be right to not have Emily there for the end of the series. And great that Ragman is returning, really like him.

Glad that she’s back, she was a big part of the show. Shame they turned her into such an unlike able character from season 3 onwards. Hope they give her a good send off

I have a feeling she is going to take the place Earth-2 Lois Lane had in the original version of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
