Good episode tonight; not quite as strong as last week's, but still good.

Dante was great, such a suave badass who is lethal AF. Really enjoying him. The Ninth Circle was good too, neat aesthetic. Expecting to see Diaz as one of the people under the hoods at some point. I also thought the flashback sequences of Dante training Emiko and befriending her were well done. However, I was NOT expecting Emiko to be the leader of the Ninth Circle, bit WTF moment there. So she, not Dante, is the big bad for the rest of the season then?

It was nice to see Robert Queen again, especially with it leading right into his trip on the Queen's Gambit. Also a big holy shit moment revealing that the Ninth Circle was enlisted by Malcolm to bomb the Queen's gambit (at least that's how I interpreted that scene, hence why she had the details to the location of the bombs). Emiko certainly has extreme anger for the Queens, if handled well it could make Emiko a really strong villain.

There were some really good fights tonight, choreography was on point. Someone, I need a gif of Oliver catching Emiko's arrow and then shooting it back at her! That was freaking sweet. Regarding Oliver, I understood his perspective and why he is holding out hope, though as of now it seems that Emiko is beyond saving (though she did spare Rene).

I enjoyed some of the other callbacks this episode: Palmer tech, Bertinelli, Diggle's brother and what happened in Season 4. And it was nice to finally see the present and future storylines get connected even further with Archer and the Ninth Circle's interest in that program.
