The CW's Arrow is entering the home stretch. Executive producer Marc Guggeneheim has continued to reveal episode titles and production credits via twitter. We now have the title and credits for season 2's penultimate episode, which is named "Streets of Fire".
As we close out season 2, next week's episode is titled "Deathstroke". There's a 1-week hiatus and then S02E19 "The Man Under The Hood" will air on The CW. That much speculated upon episode will be followed by S02E20 -"Seeing Red", S02E21 -"City of Blood" and then S02E22-"Streets of Fire". The Arrow production team is currently starting filming for the currently unnamed season finale.
On the ratings front, the "Birds of Prey" episode saw a boost in the Neilsen ratings as Arrow saw the Huntress (Jessica DeGouv) return to the show. The show garnered 2.62 million viewers and a .93/3 share of the coveted 18-49 demographic. This is up 12% from the previous week's episode but not quite as high as the 3.24 million viewers acquired in Barry Allen's debut in episode 08 of season 2. Still, this boost may help Guggenheim convince CW execs that a Huntress spinoff show chronicling the year between her Starling City departure and return, is an idea worth exploring.
Looking ahead to next week,
Guggenheim told TV Guide that Thea is in great danger from Deathstroke (Manu Bennett). "The Sword of Damocles that's being held over her is a double edge sword — it's both physical and emotional. I can guarantee that by the end of Episode 18, one of those edges is going to cut her. Thea learns something pretty massive in Episode 18, and it will cause a tectonic shift in her relationship with Oliver. The secret that Moira [Susanna Thompson] and now Oliver have been keeping from Thea will cast a very long shadow over the rest of the season. That will play a pretty big role all the way up to the finale."

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine."
