Oliver (Stephen Amell) is surprised when someone shoots and kills one of his targets. As his plan is to bring people to justice vs. outright killing them, Oliver doesn’t appreciate the help and searches for the gunman. He soon learns that the man, Deadshot (guest star Michael Rowe), is taking out businessmen who are scheduled to bid at an auction on an energy company and Walter (Colin Salmon) is one of the bidders. Realizing he can’t protect his family and stop Deadshot at the same time, Oliver enlists Detective Lance’s (Paul Blackthorne) help, but his plan has dire consequences. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Tommy (Colin Donnell) get caught in an awkward situation with Oliver. Willa Holland, David Ramsey and Susanna Thompson also star. Guy Bee directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Andrew Kreisberg.

What the hell isn't shit to you grif?? I'd really like to know! This series has been pretty damned good thus far..only 2 episodes in...but the tone is dead on. Tonight's episode featured much better acting from everyone involved in my opinion. We have deadshot next week and then a really damned accurate depiction of Deathstroke coming up. How do you know if it is shit or not? Do you watch it? Just wondering....

The show is surprisingly good and is one of the only superhero shows that have worked in a very long time (Smallville was meh, WW was canned, and The Cape was...*shutter*)

I noticed they gave Deadshot an accent! Interesting change to the character. He sounds like the accent might be a bit Russian? I could be wrong. Either way the episode looks [frick]ing awesome!!!

Awesome. The first episode wasn't as bad as some think, so this should be good.

I hope we see more China White than what we saw in tonight's episode. She has a connection to the island in the year one storyline, so maybe they'll use that. She just kinda disappeared when the cops showed up and that was the end of that.

Acting got better in this episode. Action is still solid. Got some good twists in it. Good times to be a Green Arrow fan.

Yes, because it's shoddily made. They start their fight, she kicks Arrow, then we cut to the police cars, then ..what? The editor should be publicly flogged, as should the showrunners for passing it.

But, all in all I though it was an improvement over the pilot. Review 2mo.

It isn't easy to write a story that starts with a guy trying to put his life back together. The producers must have some big long-term plans for this show.

Good show. Second episode was solid. It could have been better, but it was still very enjoyable. Can't wait for Deadshot next week, and Deathstroke in 3!!!

@Vermillion we will see more of China White because I was reading an interview with the actress that plays her and she said she had already filmed three episodes. I can't find the article right now but she says in the link below that she comes back for a few more episodes.

He'll yeah. Arrow is the best new show of the fall! Wtf was up with that ending, the book and the fact it kinda looks like Ollie was shot by Arrow?????

I also love the fact that he don't give a [frick] about any henchman types. We are only 2 episodes in and he has racked up a pretty [frick]ing impressive body count.

@overtappeal: I, sincerely, thought he said "killing", but maybe I was wrong. Either way, I guess I'll find out for sure when I watch the rerun for this past Wednesday's Arrow episode. *cool*/P :)

@overtappeal and abw2; I think it was 'hurt', which could go either way. Also, 'Roids Raging Cop Dad'? Both hilarious and accurate :p
