DC COMICS’ BRONZE TIGER AND CHINA WHITE WREAK HAVOC ON THE GLADES — Oliver (Stephen Amell) finds out the medicine that is being sent to Glades Memorial is being hijacked by thieves. Without an influx of supplies, the hospital will close. Roy (Colton Haynes) attempts to stop the thieves, but he fails and is arrested by Officer Lance (Paul Blackthorne). Oliver gets into a heated battle with China White (guest star Kelly Hu) and her new partner, Ben Turner, AKA the Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White), over the supplies. Meanwhile, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) makes plans to catch the Arrow, and Thea (Willa Holland) gives Roy an ultimatum. Nick Copus directed the episode written by Ben Sokolowski & Beth Schwartz (#202).

Not a bad first episode of the season. This show is definitely better then Agents of SHIELD and The Blacklist IMO. Oliver was spot on and damn is his sister hot!

I'm a Marvel fan but I do prefer Arrow over AoS
But I'll give it that AoS is only in its 1st season while Arrow is in it's 2nd

I do like them both but I feel a lot of this fall's new shows are lacking a bit. I guess the same could be said for the first 4 or 5 episodes of Arrow.

yes its ok to like both. I like Agents and I love Arrow.
If AoS adds some legit supers like Cage,Danny Rand,Jessica Jones,Jessica Drew,Cloak and Dagger etc then it'll be a better watch. 24 episodes of Coulson will get boring quick.
Loved tonights Arrow. PLEASE call him Green Arrow and not just Arrow! Glad they are getting rid of "The Hood"

Maybe I'm an outlier. I liked a lot of the early episodes of Arrow, though it definitely got better as time went on (except the Huntress story arc). Episode #5 (Damaged) is one of my favorites.

I like both AOS and Arrow. Arrow is better right now...but AOS just finished it's third episode.

How many people were ready to write off Arrow after the first couple episodes, I believe even Mr. Wilding wrote off the show, and has now since changed his mind.

On the topic of Arrow, I LOVED this episode. Everything except the action (which we barely got) was better. The dialogue seemed better, the acting was better, and the cast's chemistry is better.

This is definitely a great start to the second season of Arrow.

AoS needs about five episodes to finish laying the foundation but eventually Simon Williams,Luke Cage,Jessica Drew and Jessica Jones,Danny Rand need to be lower level supers that SHIELD recruits or encounters. I realize they want to save super heroes for the big screen but at least put in the heroes who aren't going to get the big screen treatment anytime soon.
I don't need Tony Stark to show up on AoS but a Luke Cage or Jessica Drew would be nice and possibly villains like Baron Strucker or Absorbing Man

Should it even be a matter of asking if you can like them both. People on this site are too focused on being biased. Personally I don't like Agents of SHIELD, but that's just my opinion.

Anyways, I kinda liked the season premiere, though I'm hoping it gets better from here. Last season set a pretty high standard toward the final episodes.

Did anyone else hear at the beginning of the episode that the anchorwoman said something like "A Central City representative of STAR Labs has announced that their Particle Accelerator will be operational by Christmas"? SO MUCH FLASH REFERENCING!!!!!!!!!! STAR LABS!!!!!!!!

I just hope they let the Tiger be what he is supposed to be: One of the top 3 martial artists in DCU- way beyond GA's skill, One of the greatest assassins- at first, then a great leader for the Suicide Squad.

Excited that Arrow is starting off where it left off - good action, great story, nice pace. I am glad its a lil dark. Way to go WB.. getting it right on this show.

BTW - I like AoS but will be glad when they pick up the action a lil. This next episode looks promising

why do I enjoy Arrow more than I enjoyed Dark Knight Rises ? I watch Oliver fight and feel like he would have owned Bale's Batman in a fight.

Okay episode but the b-plot with Thea and Roy was better then any of the a plot stuff. Laurel and Oliver's moment was way too angst-ridden. Starling City might as well be in Mexico with the lack of control by the government officials.I really wish these TV shows would give us the liberal Oliver and not carbon copy Batman.

I like arrow. It would do better on a less... soap opera style I guess, but still its good. BTW Agents of Shield this week was actually finally decent (just watched tonight). But still not great. It finally felt like an episode instead of awkward like the first 2. but still lots to work on. Arrow should be really good though in the next few seasons. btw is it possible to like both shows.

This show is Grade A, in fact the best show based on a comic book hands down. Yeah Yeah it will never get the ratings like AOS because it is on CW which is even funnier. Imagine that CW has a grade A show.

Though what is funny is, in the first episode we are already introduced to a new character! And next week we get another character possibly two introduced. To me AOS should have came out with guns blazing by introducing someone, anyone. But they went the Cameo route, and finally in EP 3 we get a glimpse of a baddie and who knows when we will see that guy on the show.

Next week we get another agent gone rouge .........

Thinking about the episode some more I am confused why Felicity is in so many scenes. She certainly should not have been at the share holders meeting and Diggle could have convinced Oliver to come home without Felicity imo.
