The midseason finale of The CW's Arrow ended on quite the cliffhanger, and based on the full official synopsis for "Left Behind" the midseason premiere will pick up shortly after the demise of Oliver Queen (Stepen Amell). Though, I'm sure he won't stay dead for too long as there is surely a Lazarus Pit calling his name.

THE TEAM DEALS WITH OLIVER’S DISAPPEARANCE — In the aftermath of Oliver’s (Stephen Amell) fight with Ra’s al Ghul (Matt Nable), Diggle (David Ramsey) and Arsenal (Colton Haynes) continue to protect the city in the Arrow’s absence. However, after three days without hearing from Oliver, they begin to fear the worst may have happened to their friend. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) refuses to believe that Oliver could be dead until Merlyn (John Barrowman) pays the team a surprise visit. Thea (Willa Holland) suspects there is something more behind Oliver’s disappearance and asks Merlyn for a favor. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) tests a part of his new suit and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) takes up the mantle of the Black Canary. Glen Winter directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Erik Oleson (#310). Original airdate 1/21/2015.

I haven't like this season so far. Felicity's origin episode was the worst episode of the series. And even the pretty good mid season finale was ruined by laurel and her mom and Thea's fight with Arrow. And when she jumped off her balcony was sooo bad! I hope things get back to its season 2 greatness.

It's says a lot about this season when IMO, the most interesting things happening are with Laurel and Ray. Yeah I saw the cliffhanger, I'm just sick of team Arrow right now.

I love Laurel, but she is not ready to be Black Canary, at least not as far as her training goes. I wonder if that's going to play into the story.

There is a lot happening in this episode.

I have a feeling we will get little hints of Oliver using the Lazarus Pit.

I don't think we will get the full reveal of Oliver being brought back to life until a couple of episodes in. I can't wait for this and The Flash!

There are few characters I really really dislike. Laurel is one of them.

In the words of James Franco: ''The f*****'s got to go! GO! The f*****'s gots to go!''

Oliver has called Roy both "Speedy" and "Arsenal" on the show. The showrunners seem to stick with "Arsenal" when describing him. Either iteration of the character is fine, I just wish that the show would decide what it wants to do with sidekicks.

Felicity and Oliver have a forced "will they/won't they" that wasn't there before. She liked him, and he didn't pay her any mind. It was kind of cute because she wasn't in love with him, just seemed to have a crush. Then they decided to pander to the audience, and now it's a mess. If we want her to move on, have her move on. If we want Ollie to love Laurel, we can't keep having reveals that he loved tons of other women too.

And what the hell is Diggle? Ollie's moral compass and the show's excuse to tie-in things with the suicide squad? Why would Arrow have given Roy a costume and nickname, but not Diggle? They don't even explain that on the show, they just move past it and hope no one asks. Diggle was there first, longer, and can defend himself. Why would he not have gotten a costume in that context? And before anyone tries to suggest that it's to inspire Roy, the costume is about their identities. Ollie explains this. So why does diggle wear a skimask? Also where does Diggle work? He's a RETIRED soldier and he obviously doesn't still work for the security company as a bodyguard. So besides helping Arrow, what does he do?

And that brings us back to Roy. Where does he live? What happened to his mother, wasn't she sick? It's heavily implied she died when Merlyn sunk the Glades. I mean Roy LEAVES for a time period. Who was taking care of her? And ever since that time all he does is spend time with Arrow.
