ARROW Season 3, Episode 12 Promo; "Uprising"

Following tonight's episode of Arrow (which was once again featured plenty of twists and turns), the promo for the next instalment - "Uprising" - has been released. With Laurel now tackling crime as Black Canary and Oliver M.I.A., it appears as if Team Arrow will make a surprising new addition...

MALCOLM MAKES AN OFFER TO HELP TEAM ARROW — Still operating without Oliver (Stephen Amell) and desperate to stop Brick (guest star Vinnie Jones), Team Arrow is forced to consider Malcolm’s (John Barrowman) offer to help shut Brick down as Malcolm has a personal score to settle with the felon. Roy (Colton Haynes) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) point out that the team could use some help to save the innocents of The Glades, but Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) is adamantly against it. They look to Diggle to make the final decision. Meanwhile, the flashbacks chronicle Malcolm’s descent from kind-hearted father and husband to cold-blooded killer after the murder of his wife. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Beth Schwartz & Brian Ford Sullivan.

Am I the only one who thought it was sick and cruel of Laurel to mess with her father like that by tricking him into thinking Sara was still alive?

The action scenes would be great in this episode if it wasn't Laurel in the action scenes. Even with her stumbling and stuff it still not watchable. With the show not doing what makes sense (Diggle being in the field more since he is the guy with the most experience and have trained with Oliver the longest), they go with Laurel who has only been training for a week and Roy who I still cant take seriously with being in the field.

I thought these episodes were going to be good and give us a great representation of what the team would do without Oliver. Instead it just wanted to make Laurel fast track to being in the field and Diggle just left behind the desk again. It is just a missed opportunity to take one of the favorite characters and make him the main focus just to take the most hated character to do some of the most unbelievable stuff seen in the show yet.

The Anchorwoman said something like "a vigilante related to the Arrow, Red Arrow was in the scene..."

This show is so cheesy, and yet I'm just so addicted.

Anyway Oliver was run through with a sword and then plummeted limp probably well over a hundred feet and hit a rock.

He didn't splatter. He wasn't mangled. And his body didn't freeze.

TV violence... I understand that they had some kind of mystical way of bringing him back to life. That's fine. But it seems like they ought to have been hauling him to the cabin in buckets.

My dry-cleaner never follows my instructions. He just tries to make me suffer. As a result, I have taken to calling him "The Dark Starcher".

Laurel you looked sexy as hell but as a fighter you've got a long way to go to achieve true Black Canary status

You guys do know that Post-Crisis Brick was kinda fat for a while right? Yeah he had super durability, but how do we know this version doesn't? For all we know he does and they just don't feel the need to mention it cuz he's not as strong as Grundy was last year so it's nothing they haven't seen before.

Is it just me, or did anyone else think in that scene with Ray Palmer standing with his hands folded over in front of Brick, that he was gonna shoot him with his power glove? I thought he was hiding it behind one hand was just gonna straight up blow his face a new hole! haha

And I was glad the news reporter said "Red Arrow", could be that when Oliver returns they'll have to start calling him Green Arrow as the "Red Hood" took his place.

Um that fight sequence in the club with Maseo and Tatsu and Oliver was badass.

Maybe it will be the news media who starts referring to the Arrow as the "Green Arrow" to differentiate him from the "Red Arrow" when Oliver returns to Starling City?

Agreed. Sounds like a logical way to do it. I really don't see Oliver saying.."Now, call me Green Arrow." on his own accord.
