Here are a few updates pertaining to Arrow season 3, in this latest news round-up. First, actor Michael Rowe, recently stopped by the Arrow production offices. Rowe, says he has unfinished business with Stephen Amell's Arrow.

Emily Bett Rickards' Instagram has given us our first look at Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer.

Speaking of Ray Ralmer, Routh (34) and Teryl Rothery (51), the actress who portrayed Jean Loring last season on Arrow (Moira Queen's defense attorney) have a bit of an age gap, so their comic book relationship of husband and wife may not play out that way on the show says executive producer Marc Guggenheim to GreenArrowTV. "I’ll tell you this: Jean Loring has already been on the show, and if he was involved with that Jean, there would be a bit of an age difference. We will be acknowledging the Jean Loring that appeared in the beginning of Season 2 as Moira’s attorney, in the context of Ray Palmer, just not as boyfriend and girlfriend."

Running Time: 60 min
Release Date: (Season Three) Fall 2014
MPAA Rating: Tv-14
Starring: Katie Cassidy, Stephen Amell, David Ramsey, Byron Mann, Colin Donnell (?), Colin Salmon, Paul Blackthorne, Emily Bett Rickards, John Barrowman, Roger R. Cross and Willa Holland, Colton Haynes
Creators: Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg

"After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. When he returns home to Starling City, his devoted mother Moira, much-beloved sister Thea, and best friend Tommy welcome him home, but they sense Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the actions he took as the boy he was. Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance. As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory. By day, Oliver plays the role of a wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be – flanked by his devoted chauffeur/bodyguard, John Diggle – while carefully concealing the secret identity he turns to under cover of darkness. However, Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance, is determined to arrest the vigilante operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she has let on – and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine."

One of the things I like about Arrow is how they keep adding B and C-list characters into the show's mythology….

Personally, I think the show can do without Batman or Superman (besides, the films and tv will be kept separate). Deadshot's a hit with viewers, Brandon Routh's Ray Palmer is generating excitement, etc.

Who knows? Maybe Eel O'Brian/Plastic Man will appear somewhere down the line….

Deadshot is hilarious on Arrow, but not as much as their Bronze Tiger. Those two have some great unintentional hilarity.

His Superman didn't suck, at all. Problem is you guys can't sit through anything that isn't filled with action and one liners.

Just watched the pilot episode of The Flash..not too bad.
Much room to improve much like Arrow's pilot. That show got much better.

That Gustin guy would have made a pretty good Peter Parker / Spidey too.
Needs to pack on more size really, not get too muscular but more size would help him look more of a superhero.

Amell on Arrow is one fit dude & even Welling on Smallville had the size/build of Supes but he needed to get more ripped.
Routh has size too but also needs to get more cut. Hope he does Atom "justice".

Also...I lost my virginity to a woman twice my age!

Yup...I was 38...she was 76.

So I don't know what CW's problem is....

Love the fact The Atom is going to be in Arrow. Don't like the fact that it's going to be Routh.

Ypu cheeky bastard the cw probably thought of this the moment he was cast.

IF YOU DIDNT SEE HIM HALF NAKED AS SUPERMAN THEN TUNE INTO ARROW TO GET TO SEE THE SUPERBODY.

@grifdeadpoolteabag

I already explained that the actress portraying that characters does a decent job of making her actually likable. It's more down to the actress' ability than the writing.

And even if your assertion that I was homosexual was true, care to explain why you bring it up whenever you address and act like it's relevant? Oh, that's right, because you're an idiot that belongs on some YouTube comment section of a video of some idiot.

I don't know why they cast Morias lawyer as Jean Loring in the first place! When she first said her name I though "this is cool but isn't this totally limiting them in the future?". Turns out it did.

Thought the same thing with Terra's brother Geo-Force who was a random scientist that died immediately. Why not just make these SUPER minor roles new characters?

Brandon Routh's Supermand did suck, but mostly Bryan Singer's dick (due to contract obligations)

"Brandon Routh's Superman did suck, but mostly because of the script."

That's what I thought until I saw all his work after that. No range and one note. There's a reason he isn't getting any major parts in major projects. ;-)

I disagree, I thought he was really good and there's nothing wrong with the script. The movie's problem was Singer's misguided reverence for the Donner films.

He should've done his own thing.
