ARROW's Stephen Amell Ends Up In Twitter Beef With Dave Bautista Over GOTG Star's WRESTLEMANIA Return

Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista is returning to WWE for WrestleMania, and a joke from Arrow's Stephen Amell has led to an unexpected Twitter beef between the two. Read on for details...

Avengers: Infinity War star Dave Bautista recently made his WWE return and will seemingly complete in his final match at next month's WrestleMania when he squares off against Triple H with "No Holds Barred."

However, when Arrow's Stephen Amell decided to weigh in on the bout, The Animal didn't take too kindly to what he appeared to be insinuating.

For years now, many wrestling fans have expressed disappointment in matches like this being added to the WrestleMania card when there are so many full-time Superstars who end up being overlooked - but Amell was quick to reply claiming that he was only joking and simply making fun of the fact that he's been part of celebrity angles in both WWE and All Elite Wrestling.

Bautista has not responded as of yet, but given how impressive Amell has been in the wrestling ring and the fact that Arrow is coming to an end later this year, it's hard not to wonder if he might be considering making the leap from acting to sports entertainment.

If so, a match between him and Batista would be a lot of fun to see play out, but it really does sound like the former WWE Champion is instead planning on calling it quits after this final match against his old friend/enemy Triple H. As always, we'll be sure to keep you guys updated.

Please don't kill me.

I might not like his show, but Amell never fails to entertain.

Who’d win in a fight? Jason Mamoa or Bautista? My money on Aquabro.

Both these guys are insufferable

Being a six time champion doesn't mean shit when it's scripted. That's like the Harlem Globetrotters bragging about beating the Washington Generals.

@blackandyellow - True. But you don't become champ unless you reach a level of popularity. He was a wrestler long before a movie celebrity. It makes perfect sense for him to have a match at Wrestlemania. He was a very popular WWE wrestler.

Gotta give Bautista credit, he is an accomplished fake choreographed fighter, not sure he'd win something like a street fight though, It was plainly obvious Amell was making fun of himself,
But I guess Bautista only gets and supports Pedo humour.

@ARMUS - It was kind of a stupid comment by Amell, since it's not really the same thing.

I know Amell was making fun of himself being a celebrity and taking up a spot of the card. But the comparison with Bautista doesn't fit.

Bautista was long time WWE wrestler that was popular enough to become champ 6 times. He did all this LONG before he became a movie celebrity. So it makes perfect sense for him to show up and wrestle at Mania.

@ARMUS - At least that's better than supporting butthurt Trump supporters and selling out his friend. 🤷
