Tina Boland Dinah Drake has arrived in Star City.

While it had been rumored for a few weeks, last night's episode of Arrow finally confirmed what many already suspected, that Juliana Harkavy's new character "Tina Boland" was, in fact, the one and only Dinah Drake, who in the comics went on to become the original Black Canary.

We were introduced to Drake in a fairly eventful episode, which at the end of the hour, saw her accept Oliver's offer to join Team Arrow as the new Black Canary and next week, it looks like we'll be getting our first look at her in-costume and in the field alongside her new teammates. The next episode will also take the team to Russia where they link up with Anatoly, who gives them a deadly mission.

Check out the extended promo for episode twelve, titled "Bratva," as well as a second promo below:

"Bratva" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

OLIVER RETURNS TO RUSSIA - A mission takes Oliver (Stephen Amell), Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and team to Russia where they meet up with Oliver's old friend, Anatoly (guest star David Nykl). Meanwhile, fresh out of rehab, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) returns to the mayor's office ready to get back to work. However, when Susan (guest star Carly Pope) asks for an interview with Lance to discuss his addiction, he balks and it's up to Rene (guest star Rick Gonzalez) to help keep things on track. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Emilio Ortega Aldrich (#512). Original airdate 2/8/2017.

Newly appointed Mayor Oliver Queen finds himself challenged as he fights on two fronts for the future of Star City. With Diggle back in the military and Thea adamant about hanging up her hood as Speedy, Team Green Arrow is down to just Oliver and Felicity – but they’re no longer the only vigilantes in town. Green Arrow’s public defeat of Damien Darhk at the end of Season Four has inspired a new crop of masked heroes to step up and defend the city, though their painful inexperience makes them obstacles, rather than allies, in the field. The arrival of a deadly new adversary will force Oliver to confront questions about his own legacy, both as mayor and as the Green Arrow.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
David Ramsey as John Diggle/Spartan
Willa Holland as Thea Queen/Speedy
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
Paul Blackthorne as Captain Quentin Lance
Echo Kellum as Curtis Holt/Mr. Terrific

Its really sad to see what happened to Felicity, she use to be such a well beloved character. In the first 2 seasons she was the light hearted character that brought much humor and smiles in a much brooding television series. But when the creators listened to the fan girls and forcedly/awkwardly created Olicity. Turning Felicity to a grounded lovable character to an anchor of melodrama that the CW has in each of its programs. If only show creators listened to its comicbook fans and actively ignors the preteen fan girls

Maybe Felicity will leave the Arrow team for Helix, her "second chance". And they will spinoff a new WB show called "Helix".
It could happen. There was a Helix in DC comics (but it was way different).

Stupid move, going to Russia. With the travel ban, Ragman will never be allowed to return.

@tugboy - The so-called ban doesn't affect US citizens or those living with valid green cards/visas. So nice try.

Let's hope they don't screw the relationship between Oliver and Dinah like they did with Felicity...

Just make it natural not forced...and PLEASE NO DRAMAQUEEN!!

I also wonder if they'll change a bit her costume. Please CW make her right this time. Arrow isn't the same without Black Canary
