It looks like Audrey Marie Anderson is finally ready to step into the spotlight, as it's been confirmed that the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover event will see the long-time Arrow cast member make the transformation from Lyla Michaels into her superhero alter-ego Harbinger. Now, thanks to our friends over at ComicBook, we have a first look at her in costume.

In a statement following the reveal, executive producer Marc Guggenheim teased her big role in the coming Crisis. "Lyla Michaels as Harbinger is a key component of the original Crisis on Infinite Earths that we were determined to honor in our crossover. What makes this particularly satisfying for us is that we introduced Lyla Michaels and her Harbinger codename all the way back in Arrow Season 1.

Production on arguably the most ambitious television crossover ever is expected to continue through the rest of October as DC characters from Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Black Lightning, Birds of Prey and Smallville unite to save the multiverse from the biggest threat it's ever seen.

The epic crossover will feature a ton of returning special guest stars from all across the multiverse, including Tom Welling as Clark Kent/Superman (Smallville), Erica Durance as Lois Lane (Smallville), LaMonica Garrett as The Monitor/Anti-Monitor, Tyler Hoechlin as Clark Kent/Superman (Earth-38), Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane (Earth-38), Jon Cryer as Lex Luthor, Cress Williams as Black Lightning, John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen/The Flash (Earth-90), Johnathon Schaech as Jonah Hex, Osric Chau as Ryan Choi/The Atom, Ashley Scott as Helena Kyle/Huntress (Birds of Prey), Kevin Conroy as future Bruce Wayne and Burt Ward in an undisclosed role. Additional Black Lightning characters are also expected to appear, but it's not entirely clear which ones just yet.

Both Brandon Routh (Legends of Tomorrow) and Tom Cavanagh (The Flash) will be pulling double (and triple) duty for their respective shows. Routh will suit up as both The Atom and Kingdom Come Superman, while Cavanagh is expected to play Pariah in addition to the latest iteration of Harrison Wells as well as the Reverse-Flash.

"Crisis on Infinite Earths" begins with Supergirl on December 8, followed by Batwoman on December 9, The Flash on December 10 and concludes with an Arrow/Legends of Tomorrow double header on January 14, 2020.

Eh. I wish i was more excited about this than I am. It's weird... growing up I was much more invested in DC comics as opposed to Marvel comics. I read both in abundance, but partial to DC. Now I look forward to Marvel projects than DC's. Comics however, I still think DC is marginally better than Marvel.

@Towelie - but being a big DC the idea of Crisis on Infinite Earth isnt getting ya? Or is it just the fact that's its CWs Crisis event?

@MrCamw1 - CW. I can't really knock them or their projects, they seem like their good shows. I watched Arrow a few times but it never really grabbed me. I watched the Flash once and was a bit underwhelmed. Haven't watched it again since. It's the same with the Marvel shows though, in fairness. I understand that it's TV so there isn't a huge budget and that limits what they can produce, but I just can't get into them. I will say the costumes are horrifc on both sides of the aisle... marvel and DC. Except Daredevil's, it was actually well done.

@Towelie - I can agree with all that but I do think I give the CW stuff more of a chance because they do a bit more crazy things than say the movie stuff at the moment. Comic wise your as right as rain. I can name way more DC story than I could Marvels. It really do believe it was the more gods omamong men like if that makes sense. Now cinematically at the moment that's an argument for another time (I do t want to turn this into a Marvel v DC things like alot of us tend to do admittedly) but as a whole for me the DC stuff goes there which I can respect. Now costumes you hit the nail on the head with. With this Lyla one I'm okay with it but whatever that's me. The Daredevil is pure gold though.

@MrCamw1 - I can't stand when people start the DC v Marvel shit. If you're a true fan, you love both. I want both to be successful...the more stellar content the better. People have the right to be upset with the way DC have handled their films, but that shouldn't mean that they need to glorify their failures and never give it a chance while praising Marvels success. Seems like some people fail to see the potential DC has to make their franchises into some AMAZING films. If done properly, they could be something truly great and one of a kind. I wonder though if the people at WB realize that...they need someone like Feige for guidance. I read somewhere that JJ Abrams signed with WB, Im curious if they want him to do something similar. I don't know if he is the right man for the job, considering his Superman project that he was attached to once upon a time.

It's a cool suit, like the colors. Betting that they are keeping the origin story and this is Lyla's doppelganger, the real Harbinger from the comics. It'll be interesting now to see Diggle interact with this version of his wife and also more scenes of the The Monitor with her.

Pretty cool for Audrey Marie Anderson to play this role after so much time too.

At this point I guess we have to accept that there is going to be lots of bottle episodes to balance the amount being spent for this crossover; but I'm guessing this will be worth it.

I have to give it to them, characters like Lyla and Professor Ivo, were introduced with no relation to their original comic characters, but Lyla becoming Harbinger and Ivo's Mirakuru being used to power Amazo in last years crossover, its a nice way of bringing it back to the original comic book characters

Such a classic comic book story, shame this CW crossover won't do it justice.

That's not how I was hoping Harbinger would have looked.

@marvel72 - We'll see. It obviously is not going to be cinematically epic, but storywise we'll see.
