Producer Greg Berlanti is having a very good year.  His various DC shows on CW; Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Black Lightning all continue to do well with viewers and he recently found huge success on the silver screen with his romantic comedy Love, Simon. This year has also seen Greg Berlanti achieve a very impressive TV milestone.

Berlanti Productions has now set the record for most television series on air at the same time, a record previously held by Aaron Spelling and Jerry Bruckheimer at eight shows on the air. Berlanti has beaten that count by five, with a total of 13 shows all ordered to series.

Out of Berlanti's eight shows from last year, only one, Deception on ABC, was canceled and the production company added three new shows; God Friended Me and The Red Line for CBS and All American for Berlanti's home network The CW.

The illustrious producer also scored two more series orders this year, for streaming services with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix and Titans on the recently announced DC Universe.  The shows mentioned above also join Riverdale, The Blindspot and You to make up Berlanti's record-shattering number of shows.

What do you think? Are you a fan of Berlanti's work? Which of his shows is your favorite? And what DC comics character would you like to see him adapt next? Leave your thoughts below.

Saying those shows are doing well is not true, I'm sorry. I used to watch all of them until very recently, so I'm not saying that to take a jab at them. It's just the truth. Ratings have been decreasing for almost every single show, every single season.

This season, Arrow lost -27% viewers, last year -29%, the year before -10%, before that +5%, and season 2 -18%.

This year, The Flash has lost -21% viewers, last year -19%, in season 2 -8%.

Supergirl has lost this season -19% viewers, last season a whopping -70%.

Legends has lost -16% viewers this season, and same the previous season, so all in all not so bad.

All this to say, not a single show has shown any gain in viewers except Arrow season 3. Contrary to Riverdale, for example, The Originals, or Supernatural. Again, not criticizing anything, I know I have to be careful with you guys, I'm just saying they're not doing well. Well enough for one more season, against all odds, yes, but manage your expectations for the future…

@Asturgis - You are absolutely right with your analysis, but the thing is that the ratings are still in the Sucess Area. I know for fact, that the ratings of Flash are considered Top Notch.

Its not about decreasing or gain when it comes to ratings...as long as you reach the number the network wants, everything is fine!

And by the way...is not every TV Show loosing viewers through the years? No One gets their numbers from the first season (first episode) back as long as i know.

This dude is rockin everything right now. good for him. I took a break from the CW shows a while ago. Never started Black Lightning and Flash lost me in this winter break.

Though i will give Titans a shot, but not thrilled by any of these shows anymore.

But iam hyped as frick for the Swamp Thing, hopefully a serious take and not a realtionship shit ala Arrowverse.

I personally have to think this is why some of the shows have taken a dip in quality. So I personally would prefer fewer shows from him, because I'll always take quality over quantity.

Before anyone starts crapping on how bad some shows are (personal taste and opinion), just think for a min, how many jobs are attached to all these shows. Not just the stars but also production crews, stunt men and women, studios they film in, other locations, lots of other behind the scene people.

Good on him and his company!

From a creative standpoint, Berlanti's work is mediocre, at best. DC has a lot of losers in charge of their intellectual properties. Not a big time for them on TV and cinema.

While I've enjoyed elements of the DCEU, no one has done more for DC entertainment these last few years like Berlanti has. Even if you don't like everything, it's hard to deny the guy loves DC and he gets the characters. Here's hoping they're getting on track with the movies soon, because DC would be a force to be reckoned with if they could knock the movies out of the park like they've been doing in all the other areas lately.

When I read this I think of Justin Bieber... apparently a lot of people love Bieber, like, a lot of people, but I can't say I've ever heard his music, and I don't care to because it seems to be popular with the tweens segment and I'm middle-aged. Berlanti shows, I guess appeal to a lot of people, like, a lot of people, but I just don't care to watch most of them because they seem to appeal to the tweens segment and I'm middle-aged. I'm not saying they aren't good by any means. I'm sure there is some good quality stuff for so many of his shows to be on tv.... I'm just not interested. My tv tastes have changed now that I'm older. I prefer the more "mature" series that Netflix, HBO etc are releasing these days. I'm not knocking his shows... I just don't watch them for my own reasons...

the CW is holding the DCEU back thats why WB wont put green arrow and supergirl
in justice league where they belong nobody outside of tumblr or CBM.com watches those. Black lightning is great but i wish they also try to make more movies
the only DC characters that should have shows are the flash and batgirl
