OLIVER CONSIDERS HIS OPTIONS AGAINST SLADE - After Slade (Manu Bennett) threatens to take everything Oliver (Stephen Amell) loves away, Oliver decides the fastest way to stop further bloodshed is to surrender to his enemy. Knowing that surrender will surely lead to Oliver's death, Diggle (David Ramsey) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) go to extreme measures to keep Oliver from confronting Slade. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) considers leaving town, and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) resumes her crusade against Sebastian Blood (guest star Kevin Alejandro). Finally, Slade unleashes his assault on Starling City. Michael Schultz directed the episode written by Holly Harold.

Arrow is a modern retelling of the DC Comic character Green Arrow. Multi-millionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing, and presumed dead after a shipwreck at sea. He is found five years later, having survived on a desert island off his wits and by mastering the bow and arrow. When he returns to Starling City however, he discovers that it is rife with corruption and crime. Oliver decides to put his skills to use by taking on the persona of Arrow and becoming the vigilante that Starling City needs.

Arrow features:
Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen/Arrow
Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak
David Ramsey as John Diggle
Willa Holland as Thea Queen
Katie Cassidy as Laurel Lance
Susana Thompson as Moira Queen
Paul Blackthorne as Detective Quentin Lance
Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson/Deathstroke
Colton Haynes as Roy Harper
Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/Canary

Arrow returns April 30.

No doubt Nomis....no doubt. Out of all the comic book related TV shows (that don't deal with zombies), Arrow is the best.

But best show on television? I'm not even gonna mention Game of Thrones. What about the Legend of Young Larry Bird?

^^ I cried after watching the episode where he broke his back.

Tonight's episode, was a huge step for the show.. Ollie is Now the Orphan he was in the Comics... The path the writers are taking is winding and one hell of a rollercoaster.... We are gaining Speed... It is gonna be one hell of a ride to the end of the season...

With Moria's death we can see Merlyn and Oliver vs Slade. If it happens, that will be epic for sure.

The decisions Ollie has to make are never easy.

Not as easy as they are for Batman anyways...

I got two. One from the TV show where Daryl's group comes across Rick and his family. And one from the comics where Rick's group meets Negan for the first time.

I have a theory. Does anyone else think it's kinda weird that during tonights episode Oliver kept shying away from saying the girl he got pregnants name? To me this was a red flag and might be something of importance. Even tword the end when Moira asked who he was talking to, he was about to say her name but instead just told her what she told him? Again, just a theory and we know how origin shows and/or movies like to tweek things up a bit. I'm thinking later on (maybe season three) we learn her name is........Mia? Think about it, the background file Moira had on her was a bit lengthy, a wrap sheet maybe? More than likely I am wrong and you guys can hang me for it if it is not, but you can agree that they kept wanting to say her name but quickly shy away from it. What do you guys think?

What a f'n great episode! So much good stuff happened in this episode. Slade did warn Ollie that he was going to make his life hell though and now he is delivering that promise. It's not over yet though! Slade is a BAMF.

The revelation of Ollie having a son opens a lot of possibilities or none at all. Given that Ollie doesn't know.

It's smart. I mean they could hold off and come back to the son seasons later, or they could just forget the whole thing if they decide not to do anything with it.

I BELIEVE CONNOR HAWKE MOM IS SURPOSE TO BE BLACK SANDRA HAWKE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT?
WhoDaFoo
WhoDaFoo - 4/24/2014, 12:12 AM
@DCFan84

I too noticed they kept avoiding her name...definitely a red flag. My first instinct was Talia al Ghul, maybe cause I just watched Son of Batman and that had a whole "superhero child plot". She'll have something to do with Season 3, maybe the kid (we don't know yet if it's Connor) will show up in the season finale. BUT, it did say 7 years ago, so the kid would be 6 years old in the present timeline.

@KINGPEN266
There have been different confusion stories of who his mother is. Some iterations say Shado was his mom and some state his mom was known as Sandra "Moonday" Hawke but this is a different interpretation of Green Arrow. More than likely she was a nobody and may never hear about her again and I am completely wrong. But didn't it seem weird that they kept wanting to say her name but didn't? Moira asked, "Who was that?" And Oliver said "That was......" then just told his mom what she said. I may be over thinking this but it just seemed odd that they didn't say her name but she was there in the Queen mansion and made it a point to show her

@WhoDaFoo
Was that any good? I want to see that too. It definitely was a Connor Hawke reference but like we both said, a red flag by not saying her name although they seemed to want too. It may never get passed the whole Connor Hawke easter egg but I'm glad I'm not the only one who found it odd
