Peter Stormare's 'Vertigo' Returning To ARROW

When last we saw Werner Zytle, aka Vertigo, he'd been taken down by Oliver Queen and left for the cops. Now EW are reporting that professional bad guy Peter Stormare (Constantine, Fargo) is set to reprise the role in the 13th ep of Arrow current season.

Joining returning familiar faces Alex Kingston, Manu Bennett, Bex Taylor Klaus and Caity Lotz in upcoming season 3 episodes of the CW's Arrow is Peter Stormare's Count Vertigo. Entertainment Weekly report that the Blacklist actor will reprise the role of Werner Zytle in episode 13 of the show, but they don't have any further details on the manner of his return. Executive Producer Marc Guggenheim does offer a few extra titbits however. “It’s a thrill to have Peter Stormare return as Vertigo,” he tells the site. “When people see this episode, I think they’ll find that it’s a culmination of a lot of elements that we’ve put into place in the first 12 episodes of Season 3. For that reason, it felt appropriate to us to have Peter return since he was the villain of the episode that kicked off all of this madness. It’s also just a joy to work with him.”
