The casts and creative talent for The CW's Flash and Arrow superhero dramas have united in the below pic for a table read of episode 08 of Arrow. Definately one of the best looking shows on tv! Well,at the very least, it's one of the shows with the most six pack abs.

ABOUT ARROW: After a violent shipwreck, billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) was missing and presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote island in the Pacific. He returned home to Starling City, welcomed by his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson), beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland) and former flame Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). With the aid of his trusted chauffeur/bodyguard John Diggle (David Ramsey), the computer-hacking skills of Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards) and the occasional, reluctant assistance of former police detective, now beat cop, Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), Oliver has been waging a one-man war on crime.

Also, we have a new featurette from The CW which looks at S.T.A.R. Labs CEO, Dr. Harrison Wells, as played by Tom Cavanagh.
ABOUT THE FLASH: After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion – and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become...The Flash.

Kill the Iris character off because she's just a Laurel copy and you have a pretty good show.

@DarthSandwich

She serves the same purpose to Barry as Laurel does the Ollie but I'm not going to call for her death until she becomes a whining naggy bitch who annoys the shit out of everyone like Laurel.

Technically, no.

Batman & Green Hornet in the 60's Batman got there first :)

Arguably, Green Hornet wouldn't count as a "comic book superhero". (He did appear in comics, but originated on the radio.) But that's splitting extremely thin hairs, and gambgel wasn't that specific anyway.

So is Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) really time traveler H.G. Wells, or someone from the future [Eobard Thawne (Pro. Zoom/Reverse Flash), or Rip Hunter!] using the "Harrison Wells" as a alias referncing the famous author???

Also thinking maybe a Jay Garrick (from an alternate deminsion) or Max Mercury. Either of them you could say traveled too far into the future, then came back before Barry becomes the Flash, decided to stay in this new deminision/timeline because he injured his legs being bounced off the Speed Force too many times... Max is a great fit considering he traveled through time and has acted as a mentor to Barry before; but so is Jay because he was Barry's favorite comic book superhero and when brought into the same universe Jay acts like a mentor/father figure to a lot of younger generation heroes (and what is S.T.A.R. Labs always doing?).

@Arrowhead77
Wouldn't surprise me if they made sure Routh and Robbie Amell weren't in the picture so as not to spoil their presence in the crossover, but then again, the Arrow cast and crew have never been ones for exclusion,
