We are weeks away from the new season of
Arrow which promises to be bigger and better than Oliver Queens (Stephen Amell) other two impressive outings. If the Arrow is to up his game, so too, must the villains of Starling City. This season marks the small screen debut of Ra Al Ghul, the leader of shadow organisation, The League of Assassins. Although Matt Noble’s character will not appear until the seasons fourth episode, it seems we will have to wait longer for an on screen battle with the Green Arrow, “
Before the winter break” promises EP Greg Berlanti “
which would be episode nine,
you’ll see some big stuff with him and Oliver.”
It’s not just Ra’s Al Ghul that the Arrow will have to deal with this season as Slade Wilson may be making a return after Oliver Queen locked him away in the second season finale. Manu Bennett will not feature in the early part of season 3 but it is the DC Universe, so don’t rule out any possibility.
This year we will also welcome the 200th episode of
Supernatural. The milestone episode will be part of the show’s upcoming tenth season but we will be two cast members down. Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard who play angel Castiel and demon Crowley respectively, will not appear in the episode. So it looks like the show is going back to its’ roots sticking with just Sam and Dean which is fitting really. A spokesperson for the show stated
"we can't give too much away about the 200th epissode or the storylines leading up to it"adding “
but we can say that Misha Collins and Mark Sheppard are not in the episode." Disappointing to some fans maybe, however, the spokesperson further comments “they, and many other favourite characters from the past nine seasons, will be represented in a way that we think fans will love.” What do you make of those comments?
