OLIVER SEARCHES FOR AN IDENTITY BEYOND THE ARROW — With crime in Starling City at an all-time low thanks to the Arrow (Stephen Amell) and his team, Oliver thinks he can finally balance being both the Arrow and Oliver Queen and asks Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) out on a date. However, when a new villain (guest star Peter Stormare) emerges, who has claimed the name Vertigo from the recently deceased Count, Oliver is caught off-guard and someone close to him is hurt. Oliver and a newly suited up Roy (Colton Haynes) take on the Count. Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) becomes a father, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) is promoted to Captain, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) joins Arrow’s inner circle and Felicity gets a part-time job at a tech store to make ends meet. Also, Oliver fights to regain his company, Queen Consolidated, but comes up against a very worthy opponent – the charming Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). Glen Winter directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Marc Guggenheim & Jake Coburn.

Starring Stephen Amell, Katie Cassidy, David Ramsey, Emily Bett Rickards, Colton Haynes, Willa Holland, Paul Blackthorne, and John Barrowman, Arrow will air on Wednesdays at 8pm ET/PT on The CW with season three set to premiere on October 8th. Are you guys excited?

JAC - 10/4/2014, 2:48 PM
Damn, this looks even better than Season 2!
Lemons - 10/4/2014, 2:50 PM

Now there's a Batman... um, I mean Green Arrow!
GhostDog - 10/4/2014, 2:58 PM
So now the vertigo shows your true fear??? So he's Scarecrow now??? Another batman villian stolen only this time, more subtly and underhanded. I love Arrow but it's too Batman lite

i wished he had super powers from the particle accelerator but this works fine.
i loved vertigo's badassery. he beat up arrow for a full minute and used his wicked aim to almost take out lance. way better than the last vertigo

Awesome clip! It wouldn't load earlier.

I love it when characters have inner struggles literally play out on screen. There was a similar scene (the only good one) in Superman 3.
DarthSandwich - 10/4/2014, 3:10 PM
That was actually pretty cool, mostly because Arrow didn't talk.
WimpyKid4Life - 10/4/2014, 3:12 PM
This is not Arrow. This is ArroCW!!!!
Dingbat - 10/4/2014, 3:16 PM
AntiBatfleck/GherkinJerkin/BlueWaffles/MuppetToucher

he is finally no more. But....

WimpyKid4Life - 10/4/2014, 3:18 PM
ArroCW rips off Batman as much as TNA rips off WWE!!! I hate that they had to bring in the Flash. I'd rather have a Flash: Animated Series. It doesn't have the "Arrow" hogging up the spotlight. Star Labs actually has employees fit for the job, not some teenagers. The action will actually look great because the Flash was meant for animation. All of the storylines will play out like their own comic book issue, not some tween gooey noooey drama bullshrimp that the CW and ArroCW is known for. The ArroCW finale literally ending with Olicity talking about a "fake kiss" and that "You sure tricked me"-- CRINGEWORTHY. Make it happen DC Animation! #FlashTheAnimatedSeries

...and now we know what Stephen meant when he said "I get to kick Green Arrows Ass"
mgeoff88 - 10/4/2014, 4:29 PM
That was an intense clip. This Count Vertigo is more dangerous than the last one.
ibravosp5 - 10/4/2014, 4:33 PM
I can't watch it! Don't worry, I'll watch it soon on tv
Mothchild - 10/4/2014, 5:02 PM
I likey
superbatspiderman - 10/4/2014, 7:17 PM
I have always liked Peter Stormare as an actor so it is good to see more credible actors coming to this show. He is already a better Vertigo than the last buy because that guy was way too over the top.
SuperPickle - 10/4/2014, 7:31 PM
Stormare played Satan in Constantine (the movie), so he's qualified to play any villain ever now.
loki668 - 10/5/2014, 12:29 AM
Stormare is awesome. 'Nuff said.
Fritzthecat - 10/5/2014, 8:34 AM
I'm excited for this season. We can expect comic book TV at its best.
Pasto - 10/5/2014, 9:03 AM
The choreography for this show has vastly improved.
PeterParker1991 - 10/5/2014, 12:51 PM

MisterHolmes - 10/5/2014, 3:11 PM
