Wildcat Vs. Arrow In Latest International Trailer For ARROW Season 3 Episode 7: "Guilty" (LQ)

TED GRANT IS ACCUSED OF MURDER - After a body is found strung up in the Wildcat gym, Ted Grant (J.R. Ramirez) becomes the main suspect. Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Laurel (Katie Cassidy) argue over Ted's innocence. Meanwhile, in flashbacks, when Maseo (Karl Yune) needs Oliver to remember where an informant for China White stashed key information, he asks Tatsu (guest star Rila Fukushima) to help jog Oliver's memory. Roy (Colton Haynes) shares a secret with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards). Peter Leto directed the episode written by Erik Oleson & Keto Shimizu (#306).



In the aftermath of this victory, Season 3 opens with Arrow now a hero to the citizens of Starling. Crime is down, people feel safer, and Captain Lance even calls off the Anti-Vigilante Task Force. Basking in his success, Oliver believes he can finally have a private life and asks Felicity out on a date. But the second Oliver takes his eye off the ball, a deadly villain reappears in Starling, forcing Oliver to realize that he can never be Oliver Queen — not as long as the city needs The Arrow.

Also his ethnicity...really doesn't match his name. I can see a black guy or some Asian guy with a name like Ted Grant.

That dude looks like someone who would introduce himself, dramatically, as "Hector Santiago 'El Chapo' Ortega!" And then...somewhere off in the distance, you hear someone shake a Maraca...

Roy didn't kill Sarah. I think that he is starting to remember killing the police officers when he was under the miraku, and his guilt is starting to get to him. Either that or somebody is altering his memories.

Yeah i agree, coming from someone that use to box, i been training keysi and krav maga for the last year and them mother[frick]ers are crazy. When i first started i could barley connect a strike to these guys, they were to good at defense

That scene would work wayyyyy better if Ted was played by someone in their 40s or 50s. The kid looks younger than Stephen amell and is small as idk what. BIG miscast

Small and ferocius IMO works almost the same along with old and seasoned out a bit..either way Hoping these two lay it all down and whent he fisticuffs fly it's brutal...like the slade vs. Ollie fight in S2

@supes124 yea I boxed as well that's why I made the observation. Keysi is crazy. TDK trilogy used it for Batman fighting style. Kraven maga is used by Israeli special forces. Martial arts is just a different animal man. So right. Martial arts defense is so much more swift and ferocious; a lot lore than boxing. They're defense is sometimes equivalent to strikes.

Wildcat is known for needing one punch I drop anyone. An older wildcat always made that aspect look cool. He's a seasoned old veteran fighter. How funny would it be, if they had cast right and got an older wildcat, and he knocked Ollie out with one to the jaw?? Hahah

Yeah i remember we talked about boxing before that's why i mentioned it. Tom cruise also uses Keysi in jack reacher and mission impossible 3, but it is really crazy. i really enjoy training krav maga , help my defense so much.I use to take so many hits, but when i boxed i was at 6'5 265lbs, now im at 230lbs lean. I feel better than ever health wise and stonger than i was at 265.

If they wanted to ruin the character and miss a very interesting element by having him an old has-been and chose to have a potential pretty-boy love interest for Laurel and remind us once again the double standard exists and that white characters are expendable .... they couldve at LEAST got a guy in shape... a guy that doesnt look like a toothpick and looks like he might actually be a boxer that could compete with the others on the show.

There are plenty of Black "Ted Grants" in the world. "Ted" is just short for "Theodore". And plenty of Black people have the surname "Grant".

Just because you can count all the Black people you know on 1 hand, doesn't mean that's all that exist in the world.

Anyways, I'm not sure why people are complaining about the ages of these actors, when everybody in DC has been de-aged, via the New 52, and all these shows are more or less based off of that than the original versions.

Ok Amell is 6'1" and it looks like Wildcat is about 5'9". Which from my experience is the perfect height when in a fight. This is my view on why this is the case, small guys are just to small and easy to wrestle with, tall guys have long arms so their punches are telegraphed. Now boxing vs martial arts is no contest...martial arts.
