Watch as this becomes more focused on Wayne at school meeting the villains that haven't been introduced yet

I hope they show more of the Wayne Enterprises conspiracy thing.

DexterDouglas, so basically you don't like any of the female characters then?

Dexter, so to sum it up, you hate everything that isn't exactly how you wanted it to be. This is truly the era of TV viewers being spoiled brats.

By the way, Dexter, Bruce initially enjoying getting revenge is an important part of his character development. Turning him into a Gary Stu who never does anything wrong would be bad writing.

this has never happened to me before, ever since the first episode aired I wanted an episode about bruce and selena meeting and hanging out and now for the first time a show is doing something I was hopeing they would do

I'm really struggling to enjoy this show, at the end of every episode it just seems like nothing really happened. And they continue to stuff it with another pointless and poorly characterized Batman reference every week. Specific example was Tommy Elliot from last weeks episode. He's in the show just for people who know him to go oh that's the guy who becomes hush. They need to start developing the characters they already have in the show instead of cramming it with name drops and poorly adapted characters.

The show went two steps back after a good episode in Penguin's Umbrella with that pathetic attempt at bringing The Black Mask to life. So disappointing.

@Scottie300 - Agreed. It's almost like the writers think they're being incredibly clever with all these 'references'. They're not.

Scottie, Tommy Elliot was just supposed to be an easter egg for fans of the comics. That's all. Cannon and company made that clear during an interview.

Minty, that was not the Black mask. It was likely his father. That's why they changed his first name.

Bruce is still a kid though. Any kid would enjoy kicking a bully's ass..

@DexterDouglas

I think that it'll fade a bit with the years, but if you think he just got his parents killed i guess he has some rage to take out of his system, that eventually he will channel into Batman and keeping the mask of "good guy" Bruce Wayne.

On a second note, i was slightly disappointed that they used Timmy Elliot's name for the kid (messing up a bit his backstory as Bruce's freind when his parents were still alive).

If they kept it without a name it could have been a funny story for the future..

But hopefully (if they ever get there) i hope they go for the "chemical" route.

someone tell me, is this show any good anymore? the spirit of the goat episode killed it for me. or are they still trying to just cram in as many characters as possible to get ratings still?

@Holmes Even if you never watch the show again, watch the episode that followed Spirit of the Goat. It was [frick]ing awesome. This episode was several steps back from that episode.

Selina and Bruce can sometimes be really close even when they don't know who each other really are.
