While we await word on a potential fifth season renewal, Gotham looks to pulling out all the stops as it prepares to end its current fourth year with a big bang. Tonight's episode kickstarted an intense series of events as the closing moments saw Jeremiah (Cameron Monaghan) pay a visit to Bruce (David Mazouz) and Selina (Camren Bicondova), Killing Joke-style, and shoot Selina point blank.

Next week's final will undoubtedly deal with the fallout and will see Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) rise above the darkness.

Check out the new promo and nineteen new promotional stills from the season four finale, titled "No Man's Land," below:

I've seen a bunch of pictures of this new, real Joker now - and he hasn't smiled even once. What's his deal?

@Kyos - I think hes supposed to go super crazy because hes been so calm and serious. Or maybe he's Joker version 2

Pretty good episode. Jeremiah and his Killing Joke likeness are great. Perhaps even more sadistic and violent than Jerome. Interesting that he is teaming up with Ras al Ghul, should be a great finale!

They'll end up nuking the city. Bruce and Jim will be watching from a distance on a roof somewhere, and Bruce will look over at Jim - who is sporting glasses now - and say "I dunno, it's missing something... maybe a mustache." Jim will laugh and fire back, "Says the kid who always wears black." ROLL CREDITS, END SERIES.

With The Exorcist and Lucifer getting the axe today, I have a feeling that we'll be seeing Gotham's cancellation any minute now. It seems like it's the only show that Fox hasn't made their minds up about yet.

@TyrionLannister - I suspect it'll be renewed. They've left a LOT of plot points open that will be impossible to address in just one more episode. And it's probably still Fox's most-watched scripted series

@GAThrawnIGF - Just because plot points are left open doesn't guarantee renewal. It just means that they weren't given enough notice to wrap things up. Since they had no idea whether they'd be renewed right up through the end of filming, they pretty much had no choice but to go forward under the assumption that the show would continue. Hence why it's probably going to end on a cliffhanger of some sort.

With only six days until the season is over, and still no word, it's really not looking good. Exorcist and Lucifer were on the fence with it, and they both got cancelled, so it'd be shocking if Gotham were to get a fifth season now.
