HARLEY QUINN: Kaley Cuoco Shares New Look At The Villain And Reveals When The Series Debuts On DC Universe

Despite rumours that the DC Universe app is struggling to attract subscribers, the streaming service continues to develop new shows, and we now know that the adult-orientated Harley Quinn is, as expected, coming our way this Fall.

Voice actress Kaley Cuoco shared the news on Instagram along with a fresh promo image of her version of the character, and it's fair to say that the series - which is still shrouded in secrecy - has a lot of potential. With any luck, more details will be revealed shortly now that we have a rough idea of when it arrives on DC Universe.

What we do know is that Harley Quinn is being spearheaded by Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, while Lake Bell will play Poison Ivy, Diedrich Bader is set to suit up as Batman, and DC Universe regular Alan Tudyk will be starring as The Joker.

What do you guys think about this take on the self-proclaimed Cupid of Crime?

@IronGenesis - id say they're 1 for 2. Doom patrol was nuts, but titans was a clusterduck. it started well, had potential, but ruined itself. maybe season two will be better but they've already tainted the characters for me. can't wait to check old swampy out tomorrow though

@Pierce - okay I cheated. Didn’t watch Titans.

But ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Doom Patrol
And Swamp Thing is getting major Critical love.

Little girls need strong role models to emulate, like someone who uses explosives hidden in video game systems to kill a bunch of children just because she was bored.

@Reeds2Much - Do little kids read comics?

I forgot this was happenening, and to be honest I don't have much interest in this either. Then again, DC is always top of the game with their animated projects, so maybe I'll give it a chance

@MalseMarcel - i wouldn't say top of their game. they used to be better before they started they're shared universe. sometimes I'm not sure who they're audience is for. I picked up the batman tmnt that just came out. its great for nostalgia but almost seems like its for kids with some of the over the top exposition and dumb humor so I'm thinking maybe i can watch this with my nephew thats 4, then all the sudden shedder impales a dude in the head with a ninja star, blood squirts everywhere. goes back to kiddie time and then Raas and shredder go on a little decapitation spree. kinda like that out of place hookup scene with harley and dick from one of the recent ones. If they are making adult animation, great, they should get adult writers. If they are doing kiddie stuff, great. Take the 90s batman animated series. it had plenty of sexual innuendos between harley and joker. that said, ill give this a chance

@Pierce - I agree. I do gotta add though that I meant that DC never really disappoints when it comes to animated stuff

A rated R Harley cartoon is just what the doctor ordered.

I dunno... seems like every incarnation strays further away from what made Harley a good character. She was always a decent person, but broken. Her and Harvey Dent were two of the few villains that Batman thought could be reformed, but modern Harley is just a crazy psychopath.

@Omegacron - she was a broken crazy psychopath from the beginning to be honest

That's 2 out of the 3 main female cast members voicing Harley quinn now. When is Mayim Bialik going to do it?

I'm kidding of course, no more big bang theory anything please.
