'Bizarro' Is Coming To Season One Of SUPERGIRL In The New Year

Thing are going to get weird when Supergirl returns in the new year as executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has revealed that Bizarro is set to make an appearance in the second half of the season.

On the latest edition of Kevin Smith's Fatman on Batman podcast, Supergirl executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed that there are plans in place to bring Bizarro to the CBS series. He didn't reveal which version we're going to see, but this could in a way give the show the opportunity to use Superman (albeit a very different version of him). Bear in mind though that the Supergirl version of Bizarro could also be used. After all, that would mean Melissa Benoist could take on dual roles, something it would be very interesting to see. Regardless, we'll have to wait and see how this pans out, but more details should be revealed early next year. Which version of Bizarro would you like to see in Supergirl? If they go with Bizzaro Supergirl I would rather them bring in Laura Vandervoort to play the part rather then having Melissa Benoist do double duty.

by far the worst comic book show on. granted I still watch every episode...but cringe the whole time some times. The effects are terrible the costumes are awful as well. Red Tornado was a joke, and everything about this show just screams "We wanted to do Superman, but this is the best we can do"

I've enjoyed this show despite thinking I would not. It's somewhere between Flash and Arrow.
DC is knitting a nice little network TV universe together.

Cool, Bizarro and Martian Manhunter In one season. Just rebuild Red Tornado and add in Braniac and this show will be above flash for having my attention

Whether they make it a Clark Bizarro or a Kara Bizarro, it's still gonna be weird. It would make almost no sense to have the normal Bizarro in this series if they plan on keeping it Superman-free. A Supergirl version makes more sense for this series, but that still doesn't mean I really want to see it.

I believe it will be the female version so they can use the male one in the DCEU. I know she was only in the cartoon, but I really want to see the clone of Supergirl, that being Galataya make an appearance.

I am loving the gall of this show. They waste no time dumping in fan favorites. I can't wait to see Megan Morse and some white martians in live action. And now Bizarro?

As far as BvS goes, I actually think some version of Bizarro may be in it. If you watch the latest trailer, when Lex says that if man won't kill god, let the devil do it, it looks like Superman is actually behind him. And the first trailer showed Superman kneeling before Lex. I think that might be a clone of Superman, a Bizarro version.

I hope they don't resolve that secret identity trouble by having Martian Manhunter impersonate her. That would be a real cop out. I like Cat knowing her secret.
