"Crisis on Infinite Earths" closed out its first three hours with the ultimate cliffhanger, as the multiverse was finally destroyed by the Anti-Monitor (LaMonica Garrett) with only seven heroes - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist), The Flash (Grant Gustin), Martian Manhunter (David Harewood), White Canary (Caity Lotz), Batwoman (Ruby Rose), Ryan Choi (Osric Chau) and Kingdom Come Superman (Brandon Routh) - left standing at the Vanishing Point.
However, in a cruel twist of fate, Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) had one ace left up his sleeve in the Book of Destiny and he used it to enact a last minute swap between him and Kingdom Come Superman, leaving the Man of Steel vanquished and the maniacal Luthor as, quite possibly, humanity's last hope.
Following the cliffhanger, The CW debuted a kickass new poster and released a number of very spoiler-y photos from
The Flash hour, including fresh shots of Lucifer's (Tom Ellis) cameo and Kingdom Come Superman's tragic end. Plus, a few members of the cast have been sharing a ton of cool behind-the-scenes photos from their time filming the crossover.
