David Harewood Shares BTS Look At SUPERGIRL's Martian Manhunter

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

For many comic book fans, Harewood's Martian Manhunter is the best part of the show. It's too bad we (likely) won't be seeing J'onn in the DCEU anytime soon but Harweood has been knocking it out of the park on the small screen.

He looks great, but the animation of his face kinda ruins it sometimes. I wish they went with make up enhanced with CGI, not full CGI. But this is still pretty awesome to see on TV. Harewood owns the role.

I'm a fan of the Martian Manhunter, but l dislike this version. The reason why is because he gets beaten easily. It isn't just by the Kryptonians, but by humans too. I thought Alex was a human, but maybe she has some secret power and that is the reason she can best him, at least l hope so.

I really would like to see J'onn finally getting to come out to the world and stop pretending to be Hank, this way National City can have another superhero.

@BlackIceJoe - I let stuff like Alex slide because I feel like he's not using his full potential, for the sake of not completely wrecking her

I've heard enough good about this show to give it a shot. Maybe this weekend.

@blackandyellow - If you do, you should know that from around episode 7 and onward that the show finds its footing. The first six are a hit or miss, depending oh who you ask

I enjoy this show -- probably because I'm a huge martian manhunter fan. They got me.

It's not bad, the manhunter stuff is cool. You really have to except that Superman isn't gonna show up to help her when otherwise he clearly would.

The main reason I wish Supergirl didn't take place on a separate Earth from The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow.

@jumpingtheshark - how awesome would it be to see a big crossover episode with Arrow, Flash, Vixen, Martian Manhunter, and Supergirl.

@exies7 - that would be freaking awesome, i do hope they do not do some alternate earth thing and just mention have you been following up on the girl in metropolis? we may need her some day I can see Cisco doing something like this

@jumpingtheshark- I'm hoping for an eventual multi-network miniseries Crisis.

@TheAcuario When they looked into the time stream a few episodes ago it showed Supergirl and The Flash (1990), so I am assuming it takes place on another Earth. Doesn't mean they can't make a crossover happen eventually.

@barisax I'd be so into that.

@jumpingtheshark - I agree an I alreadyknew it was in a different earth because of that episode but I am show it uld have been great if she was in the same earth, I do however i hope Oliver gets to have a cross over since technically he was the one that opened the door to all of these shows
