Earth's male super-powered population had better be prepared, as none other than Maxima is coming to Supergirl - and if she's anything like her comic book counterpart she's going to be searching for a suitable mate.

CBS has released the synopsis for the upcoming 19th episode of the show, "Myriad", and though it doesn't specify how the character will factor into the plot, it does reveal that she will make her debut as played by former pro-wrestler turned actor Eve Torres Gracie.

“Myriad” – Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) use mind control to turn National City’s citizens into their own army, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, April 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

RECURRING CAST: Laura Benanti (Alura/Astra), Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Lucy Lane), Chris Vance (Non), Peter Facinelli (Maxwell Lord), Laura Vandervoort (Indigo), Briana Venskus (Agent Vasquez), Glenn Morshower (General Sam Lane) and Dr. Eliza Danvers (Helen Slater) GUEST CAST: Eve Torres Gracie (Maxima)

@ComicsBornAndBred - I got a 10:45AM matinee on Wednesday. Odds are the theatre will be 30% full tops. Gonna get some popcorn, spread my stuff over the seats next to me, hopefully put my feet on the seat in front if nobody's there. Can't fricking wait !

@MiopTop - you lucky bastard lol. I'd love a matinee. Mt friends and I could only get late Thursday night tickets. We're all busy with school during the day. We got a laaate showing on a weekday so hopefully it's not too crowded.

@ComicsBornAndBred - Well it could add a bit of an atmosphere. I saw Deadpool in a matinee and it was weird seeing those jokes on a big screen and hearing just one dude in the back chuckling

@Jhuntdaprodigy - Once you and a woman and get over 30 you are considered old, unless you are an Academy Award winner or something.

@dnno1 - True but thats more for movies though majority of the actors on DC TV are in their late 20s to early 30s Laura Vanderbilt who plays Indigo on this show is the same age as Eve Torress

@Ryuk1995 - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/culturenews/7782247/Leading-actresses-hit-out-at-discrimination-in-entertainment-industry.html this article says that actresses have been criticizing the obsession with the "'youth culture' in film, television and theatre, and said that roles for mature actresses were 'diminishing' and 'deteriorating'". They also said that it was getting worse. I don't know what else I could tell you.

@dnno1 - I agree with you I never said you were wrong Article definitely has alot of truth to it I'm just saying that Eve Torress is around the same age as all the Superhero tv shows even the walking dead obviously age isn't a problem for this genre casting directors even the MCU and DCEU usually cast older

@Ryuk1995 - You said it was more for movies. I just wanted to make it clear that it applies to TV and other forms of media as well.
