It Sounds Like Mon-El Will Finally Be Suiting Up At Some Point In SUPERGIRL Season 3

Mon-El has had a significant role in the second season of Supergirl, but when will he be suiting up like his comic book counterpart? Executive producer Andrew Kreisberg promises that it's coming.

Chris Wood's Mon-El has become something of a fan-favourite character in Supergirl this year, but fans have been wondering when "The Other Superman" will finally get his own superhero costume.

After all, he's been fighting crime, so it makes sense that he should get a uniform of his own somewhere down the line. Well, during a recent chat with TV Line, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg was asked when we'll get to see it and was somewhat reticent in his answer to the site.

"I can’t say right now," he teased, "But I wouldn’t be surprised if one day you got to see that." A season three debut seems highly likely then, but nothing has obviously been confirmed as of yet.

These shows often shake things up when a new season launches (see: Arrow's new vigilantes, Kid-Flash in The Flash, and Supergirl's Guardian), so the third year starting with Mon-El getting a new look would be pretty cool and makes sense.
