"Myriad” – Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) use mind control to turn National City’s citizens into their own army, on SUPERGIRL, Monday, April 11 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

 


 

The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

Shame that this season only has 20 episodes, but at least the last 2 episodes have high stakes.

Hoping season 2 goes the route of the New Gods, I'd love for an adaptation of Batman/Superman, or maybe a version of the New 52 with Brainiac!

Tried watching this when Flash crossed over.

It suffers from the exact thing the Womnder Woman pilot that never aired, the Catwoman movie and the Supergirl movie all suffered from:

It TRIES to hard to be girlie and just comes across cheesy. Just write a superhero show and make the character a woman. It doesn't need to be girlie. Buffy was a girlie character at times, but the show was not "girlie".

Why is this so difficult for television and movies to understand???

1. You watched one episode, you see the problem? You've skipped 17 episodes, the last 8 of which have been fantastic and story driven.
2. Taken, Worlds Finest was complete cheese, but it was fun (If, you know, you're invested). "girly" is literally the worst argument you can make about a show. Not in your age group? Sure. Think the writing is trash? valid. Actors annoy you? All understandable.
But "girly" is implying that show's fault lie with the large Female cast, and its not. It's the same formula and layout as the Flash.

@Kman - The show focuses on overarching morals that are akin to Superman lessons. If you're referring to the fact that she occasionally brings up how "Girls are just as capable", than sure, but most of the messages are "Be safe, always be a hero, go niceness!".
