Earlier today The CW released its fall schedule, and we found out that the network's next big crossover event would include characters from not only The Flash, Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow, but also the latest DC addition, Supergirl.

To mark the announcement, we have a couple of new promos: one welcoming Melissa Benoist's Girl of Steel to the CW, the other mashing up footage from all four of the shows for one extended sizzle reel.

I'm surprised they didn't have her cameo on Big Bang Theory.

@DAGuess - In my opinion, that show is becoming less about nerd culture, anyways.

@Potato - Hmm. They must be growing up.

@Vaportrail - Eh, I feel like it's more about relationship drama. That's just my opinion, though.

Supergirl still has to compete with Monday Night Football. And we all know sports > superheroes.

@blackandyellow - I imagine they are not exactly chasing the same demo. And uh no superheroes way better than sports. They don't end in disappointment 97% of the time.

@BlackStar25 - They're playing the Redskins so I expect them to. The secondary and Bryant's replacement are my only concerns right now.

The major problem I'm seeing with this move to the CW is how they will adress the fact that Superman exists in this shared universe, but doesn't take the time or interest to meet all this superheroes...

@mistral1 - ...Its not the same universe tho remember. Supergirl's Earth is considered Earth-3

@mistral1 - Am I the only one who wants to see Dean Cane put the cape back on? They already have him casted. Just use the multiverse theory to explain why he was different in the first season...

Why is Black Canary in that Supergirl promo?

They obviously don't give a [frick] about her.

As much as I don't really care for any of these shows, I have to tip my hat to Berlanti and co. for putting together a pretty ambitious DCTV universe. Fans should be pleased.

@PsychoticSpaceRaccoon - Yeah, I agree. Don't watch any of them myself, but good to see them all in general.
