Tonight's episode ended in shocking fashion as Rhea killed her own husband, Lar Gand, for his "betrayal" in letting Mon-El return to Earth with Kara.

The show now heads into a one-month spring hiatus and when it returns on April 24, the Girl of Steel is going to have her hands full with Rhea's next evil plot. Meanwhile, she'll also have plenty of trouble on the homefront when Lena Luthor's evil ex-boyfriend Jack Spheer played by iZombie's Rahul Kohli, arrives unexpectedly in National City with his own troubling intentions. Plus, could someone be getting close to discovering Kara's secret identity?

Check out the new extended promo for episode eighteen, titled "Distant Sun," below:

Solid episode that was. All the characters were IC and the climax at the Daxamite spaceship was one of the best sequences in the Season so far.

Seeing them make use of the portal from 2X09 makes me think that the DEO definitely must have kept the Exodus spaceship. At least I hope so.

Wonder what is gonna happen with the POTUS' identity.

The return of Agent Schott! He was less afraid this time, cool. This is how I like to see him, every now and then joining the action as support. All his scenes were great, from playing himself at the start at the DEO to that stapler scene.

Alex's scene with Maggie before the climax was good, all of those expressions Maggie was making trying not to cry I found relatable, maybe all of us have in fact.

J'onn got in trouble but it was worth it for a successful mission and to kick some ass.

R.I.P. Lar Gand. A little DISAPPOINTED for him, I'd rather he ended up being the one in the dungeon, taking Mon-El's place but they did said that he'd be around for 3 episodes and counting his introduction at the end of 2x15 this was the last one.

The next time that Legion ring is in a close up something good better happen.

And looks like Lena will find out about Kara in the next episode.

I'd like to find a way to get Martian Manhunter his own show.

Teri Hatcher can play one evil bitch! The kryptonite sai were a weird touch for me, but whatever. Looking forward to the next episode. I love me some Lena.

@KyElofKrypton - They looked like plastic and wasn't even consistent. It stabs Supergirl and that Daxamite who flew out the window, but doesn't stab Manhunter. Ridiculous. Then Supergirl fights against Rhea and the sai for a few minutes, before the affects kick in. Even more ridiculous. Kryptonite affects Kryptonians instantly.

things are really getting crazy. Lynda Carter is a Dominator. What if the finale is the Daxamites and the Dominators going to war on earth, so the heroes will have to work with Camdus to stop them

Yeah ok it was a good episode, but the ending was predictable.
And i didn't liked it, they wasted Sorbo.

Loved the episode. Great climax on board the Daxamite ship - MM kicking ass and so on. Melissa Benoist is just so perfect in her dual role. She and Mon El's relationship always enjoyable.
