The closing moments of last night's episode saw Queen Rhea approach Lena Luthor with a business proposition, which we'll learn a lot more about next week. However, knowing Rhea, whatever her plan may be, it can only mean nothing good lies ahead for Kara's super-powered alter-ego.
Meanwhile, the episode's main plot will see Supergirl and Maggie Sawyer team-up for the first time ever on a mission to rescue Alex, who's life hangs in the balance after being kidnapped by a very dangerous individual.

ALEX IS KIDNAPPED - Alex (Chyler Leigh) is kidnapped and the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) releases a notorious criminal from prison. Supergirl and Maggie (Floriana Lima) have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals but this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile, Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) has an interesting proposal for Lena (Katie McGrath). Rob Greenlea directed the episode written by Eric Carrasco & Greg Baldwin (#219). The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.
