SUPERGIRL: Kara Makes A Major Life Decision In New Photos From Season 3, Episode 21: "Not Kansas"

The CW has released fifteen new promotional stills from the June 4th episode of Supergirl, featuring an early look at what's to come after Kara reunites with her mother next Monday night.

With next Monday night's episode of Supergirl set to reveal that Kara's (Melissa Benoist) mother Alura (Erica Durance) is still very much alive, TV Line recently caught up with the former Smallville star and got some insight on her reunion with her daughter, which sounds like it's going to over go quite well, although there may be a wrinkle or two when it comes to Reign (Odette Annable). "Pure joy and surprise, and then the unfolding of why Supergirl has come to see her mother and “Can her mother help her?” It’s kind of touch-and-go as to whether Alura can actually do anything to help. Supergirl has to plead her case."

Durance also confirmed that she'll be appearing in the final four episodes of the season and while she didn't know whether she'd be back next year, she did tell Entertainment Weekly that there's still plenty of story left to tell. "I think there’s so much that they could do with her if they needed to. She’s an important character, just to reflect off of Supergirl and her mother and all of those things. Whether they can fit her into the mix, we’ll see."

In addition to those stills from "Dark Side of the Moon" we saw yesterday, The CW has also released new photos from the following week's hour, which shine a spotlight on James (Mehcad Brooks), Winn (Jeremy Jordan), Alex (Chyler Leigh), and J'onn (David Harewood) as they attempt to solve a crisis at the DEO. Meanwhile, Kara and Mon-El (Chris Wood) embark on a new mission and Reign looks to escape Lena's (Katie McGrath) captivity.

Check out fifteen new promotional stills from episode twenty-one, titled "Not Kansas," below:

Supergirl battles Reign, the world killer, all I keep wondering is, where's her cousin, Superman? Reign beat her so bad she almost killed her, and Superman was still a no-show.
