Kara finds herself in quite the predicament on next week's episode of Supergirl when the President puts her in an awkward situation, but luckily, Cat Grant is back in town with some much-needed guidance for the Girl of Steel. Meanwhile, Mon-El continues to deal with his mother Rhea and Lena Luthor has seemingly made a grave mistake.

CAT GRANT RETURNS - Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) grapples with whether or not to obey the President's (guest star Lynda Carter) orders regarding Rhea's (guest star Teri Hatcher) latest actions. Meanwhile, Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) returns to National City. Millicent Shelton directed the episode written by Jessica Queller & Derek Simon (#221). Original airdate 5/15/2017.


 
The hour-long drama centers on Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, who was born on the planet Krypton and escaped amid its destruction years ago. Since arriving on Earth, she has been hiding the powers she shares with her famous cousin. But now at age 24, she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and be the hero she was always meant to be.

They didn't "phase her out." When the show moved from LA to Vancouver, she didn't want to make the move. It was her choice not to return as a series regular,
