Next week's Supergirl will pick up on the heels of tonight's episode, with both Brainiac-5 (Jesse Rath) and Dreamer (Nicole Maines) still in the past, trying to complete their mission so that they can finally rescue Kara (Melissa Benoist) from the Phantom Zone.
The hour will also mark the directorial debut of series regular star Chyler Leigh (Alex Danvers), so it should make for quite an eventful adventure as Young Kara (Izabela Vidovic) gets her first taste of kryptonite right before prom, which could prove to be a bit of a problem... to say the least.
Meanwhile, expect some invading aliens and a meddling Cat Grant (Eliza Helm), who may throw a major wrench into the Kara rescue plan.
