SUPERMAN Is Sporting A Sweet New Suit In The Latest BTS Photo From The "Elseworlds" DC TV Crossover

The Scarlet Speedster and the Emerald Archer are finally about to meet Superman, but based on this latest BTS snapshot, it looks like the Man of Steel won't be wearing his traditional red-and-blue.

While Justice League may have opted to keep Henry Cavill (Mission: Impossible - Fallout) out of the black suit, it looks like DC TV won't be making that same mistake as Arrow star Stephen Amell (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow) has just shared an awesome new behind-the-scenes photo from the upcoming "Elseworlds" crossover, featuring a first look at himself and Grant Gustin (Barry Allen/The Flash) alongside special guest star Tyler Hoechlin (Clark Kent/Superman), who is sporting the Man of Steel's iconic black threads.

Amell has been actively sharing updates from the currently filming crossover and based on his recent posts, it appears that production is still ongoing on the Supergirl portion of the three-part event while the Arrow and The Flash portions may have wrapped sometime last week.

While plot details remain under wraps, the crossover event, which airs from December 9-11, will introduce both Batwoman (Ruby Rose) and Lois Lane (Elizabeth Tulloch) to the DC TV multiverse. It will also mark the first time this iteration of the Scarlet Speedster and Emerald Archer has met the Last Son of Krypton.

Season three saw Supergirl stop Reign and the other Worldkillers’ threat to humanity and our planet, and in the process, Kara was shocked to find her mother Alura alive and living in a salvaged Argo City that survived the destruction of Krypton. Reconnecting with her past caused Kara to realize that her true home is now here on Earth, where big changes are taking place for her and all of her friends in National City – and also, it appears, for a doppelganger in Russia! Season four promises to be full of surprises, action, adventure and lots of big revelations for Supergirl, Alex, James, J’onn, Lena and Brainy.

Supergirl features:
Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El/Supergirl
Mehcad Brooks as James 'Jimmy' Olsen/Guardian
Chyler Leigh as Alexandra 'Alex' Danvers
Jeremy Jordan as Winslow 'Winn' Schott
David Harewood as J'onn J'onzz/Martian Manhunter
Katie McGrath as Lena Luthor
Jesse Rath as Querl Dox/Brainiac 5
Sam Witwer as Agent Liberty
Nicole Maines as Nia Nal/Dreamer
April Parker Jones as Colonel Haley
David Ajala as Manchester Black
Rhona Mitra as Mercy Graves
Robert Baker as Otis Graves
Erica Durance as Alura Zor-El
