SUPERMAN & LOIS: New Promo For Season 1, Episode 11; "A Brief Reminiscence In-Between Cataclysmic Events"

Last night's episode of Superman and Lois dropped a bombshell revelation as we learned that "Morgan Edge" (Adam Rayner) was indeed Superman's brother - well, older half-brother - when he revealed his name as Tal-Rho, the son of Lara Lor-Van and her first husband Zeta-Rho.

Clark (Tyler Hoechline) also discovered that his own birth mother was the one responsible for designing the Eradicator technology, but while she intended to preserve all Kryptonian culture, her eldest son has been using it for his own nefarious reasons and is hellbent on destroying humanity.

The hour concluded with a reunion for the ages as Lana (Emmanuelle Chriqui) stepped up to allow herself to be eradicated with Lara's consciousness so that Kal-El could find a way to reverse the eradication and restore everyone to their former selves.

With Clark now temporarily powerless after powering the Eradicator, next week's installment will shift the focus as we get what looks to be an awesome flashback episode that promises to reveal much of the Man of Steel's early life in Smallville.

Check out the new promo for season one, episode eleven of Superman & Lois, titled "A Brief Reminiscence In-Between Cataclysmic Events," below:

The next big screen Superman could be a one-legged pirate dwarf, as long as Tyler Hoechlin is Superman, I'll be okay.

Seriouy might be the best live action anything DC had made since The Dark Knight trilogy

@dracula - It's true. And it's really frustrating me how it's not getting much publicity, at least not here in the U.S. WB/ DC should be marketing the absolute scat out of this.

He IS SUPERMAN. The ideal, best, and downright immaculate modern Man of Steel we need.

Love this show.

This show is Superman!

It is unbelievable how great of a show it is and it leaves ever other DC CW show in the dust.

Now I wish WB would bring out a Dark Knight show that took care of the character.

Possibly make it a noir type detective show with martial arts, thrown in too.

@BlackIceJoe - after this id for sure be fine with them trying a Batman show, although think they would have to do more of a globe trotting batman, considering Batwoman has gotham covered.

@dracula - With there being a multiverse you don't have to make it take place in the same universe. It could be its own thing.

Maybe make it a period piece and have it be set in an alternate version of Gotham in the twenties.

@BlackIceJoe - oh thought you meant the producers of this show doing a batman show.

Yeah a period piece would be cool.

If the superman reboot is a period piece like rumored, hope they go with 1938

@dracula - Sorry my mistake, no you are right I was talking about the producers of Superman & Lois doing a Batman show.

The reason I brought up the multiverse was because you said Batwoman is doing Gotham, so I was just spit balling ideas of how you still could have the series take place in Gotham.

Again I'm sorry about the mistake.

@dracula - How is Dean Cain above Tom Welling?? And even Routh was really just a Reeve impression so he's pretty hard to rank.

@dracula - Henry Cavill could be the best superman if Zack Snyder can show him how to become a real superman because in real life henry acts more like superman than in the movie.

@solskulldeath - Dude I was just thinking about this the other day. Henry should be the best Superman but his movies have let him down massively!

@Steel86 - it is because the direction. Cant blame him since zack wanted him become dark and depress superman.

Genuinely shocked at how much I am enjoying this show right now - even with the teen angst stuff. This show really is Man of Steel done the right way with a creative team that understands the character. There were some moments in this episode where I though Tyler Hoechlin was a bit weak but overall I think he's doing a good job as Clark/Superman.

@dracula - I think they might be building some kind of loose adaptations from the "Reign of Supermen" for the upcoming seasons. With John Henry Irons as Steel, Eradicator, Jordan taking the Conner's place as Superboy and maybe one super-powered human like Kyle filling in for Cyporg-Superman (since I doubt they are bringing over the Supergirl version of the character).

All the great things Tyler has done with this character further exemplifies how much the CW did him dirty before this series.

Really didn't like how the family were giving Sam shit last episode. For once, Sam was completely in the right, the guy was just doing his job. And then the events of the episode literally prove he was RIGHT!

I understand Lois getting mad at him but was disappointed when a character as good as John called his grandfather a coward for stupid reasons.
