SUPERMAN & LOIS: There's Something Big Coming In The New Promo For Season 1, Episode 14: "The Eradicator"

Superman & Lois is taking the rest of the month off and won't be back with its next episode until August 10, but it sounds like we're in for a doozy of an hour as Clark and Lois try to uncover the truth!

Like DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The CW's top-rated DC series Superman & Lois will also be taking a few weeks off for the Olympics and won't be back with a new installment until Tuesday, August 10, which will actually be season one's penultimate hour.

While we don't have a plot synopsis, the promo reveals that Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) will be putting their investigative hats on as they race to get to the bottom of Tal-Rho's (Adam Rayner) master plan. But it looks like their search may end in tragedy as we bear witness to a very emotional Lois at the end of the 20-second spot.

The episode will air directly after the long-awaited second season premiere of Stargirl, which returns after a universally acclaimed first season that introduced Brec Bassinger's Courtney Whitmore to the greater DC multiverse. Details on the season premiere are still under wraps, but it's slated to run thirteen episodes.

Meanwhile, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl will return on August 24 with the final batch of episodes from its sixth and final season, one week after Superman & Lois brings its freshman season to a close.

Check out the new promo for season one, episode fourteen of Superman & Lois, titled "The Eradicator," below:

TBD.

Original airdate 8/10/2021.

@Doomsday8888 - Show would be perfect if it weren't for the breaks and the sepia filter.

It was odd seeing Diggle (briefly) in the last episode. I prefer they keep this universe separate from the 'Arrowverse.'

@FleischerSupes - well, that's diggle from another universe, i guess. The doggle that never work with the queen's family.

@Godzillakartttt - I’d say it’s one of the best CW shows out there. Scratch that, it’s one of the best shows out there

This show’s story/writing has gone down hill quickly, but even as a big Cavill fan I think Tyler has done decent. His take on Clark has been great, but his Superman has felt forced.

I’d also add they basically just added new story elements into the plot from Man Of Steel - bad guy Kryptonian with connection to Superman’s parents kills ghost Jor El and uses alien tech to bring back his lost people. They just sort of interwove new characters into the story and tweaked connective story points, but the overarching plot is very similar.

I wonder if they’re going to give Steel the signature “S”?

Not one episode has disappointed me yet but the episode last week was a little rushed and I felt the Diggle(always great to see Diggle regardless)cameo was unnecessary but overall fantastic. Plus Super Fist Pump.
