Like DC's Legends of Tomorrow, The CW's top-rated DC series Superman & Lois will also be taking a few weeks off for the Olympics and won't be back with a new installment until Tuesday, August 10, which will actually be season one's penultimate hour.
While we don't have a plot synopsis, the promo reveals that Clark (Tyler Hoechlin) and Lois (Elizabeth Tulloch) will be putting their investigative hats on as they race to get to the bottom of Tal-Rho's (Adam Rayner) master plan. But it looks like their search may end in tragedy as we bear witness to a very emotional Lois at the end of the 20-second spot.
The episode will air directly after the long-awaited second season premiere of Stargirl, which returns after a universally acclaimed first season that introduced Brec Bassinger's Courtney Whitmore to the greater DC multiverse. Details on the season premiere are still under wraps, but it's slated to run thirteen episodes.
Meanwhile, Melissa Benoist's Supergirl will return on August 24 with the final batch of episodes from its sixth and final season, one week after Superman & Lois brings its freshman season to a close.
Check out the new promo for season one, episode fourteen of Superman & Lois, titled "The Eradicator," below:
TBD.
Original airdate 8/10/2021.
