The Heroes Of The CWVerse "Suit Up" In An Awesome New Poster For The Network's DC Comics Shows

The CW has released a new poster hyping up its slate of DC Comics adaptations. It's pretty incredible to see Superman among them, though his series, Superman & Lois, has arguably far exceeded all of their shows in terms of sheer quality (and we've only actually seen five episodes thus far).

On this cool new promo image, we see Black Lightning (Cress Williams), The Flash (Grant Gustin), Stargirl (Brec Bassinger), White Canary (Caity Lotz) from Legends of Tomorrow, Superman (Tyler Hoechlin),  Batwoman (Javicia Leslie) and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist). Unfortunately, COVID-19 means that we won't see these seven heroes assembling on screen for the foreseeable future.

Supergirl and Black Lightning are in their final seasons, while plans for Superman and Batwoman to come together for a "World's Finest" crossover were scrapped due to concerns that mixing cast and crew could spread the virus and halt production on one or both shows.

Superman & Lois returns on Tuesday, May 18th, Supergirl will be back for its sixth and final season on Tuesday, August 24th, and Stargirl's second season arrives on The CW on Tuesday, August 10th. As for the rest of the shows these character star in, they're already airing weekly on the network.

@rebellion - Guess they feel they literally can't afford to mess those 2 up. Ironically, I think the best medium for live-action Batman is television or streaming. It's only in movies for money. It would do a better service the the character and the rogues that way.
