Legends of Tomorrow has wrapped up its second season so we're now down to just three DC TV shows on The CW. There's still plenty to come before they wrap up, though, something which is evident by these new descriptions for Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl. As you can see, Alex Danvers is going to find herself in hot water, but who is her kidnapper? That obviously remains to be seen for now!

Over in The Flash, it appears as if Caitlin Snow has now fully embraced her Killer Frost persona and is totally unhinged as she goes into battle against Cisco and the rest of the team. Finally, Arrow sounds rather uneventful, but some fans will no doubt be happy that the focus here is being shifted squarely to the relationship between Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak. Which of these are you most excited for?

Supergirl - "Alex"

ALEX IS KIDNAPPED – Alex (Chyler Leigh) is kidnapped and the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) releases a notorious criminal from prison. Supergirl and Maggie (Floriana Lima) have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals but this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile, Rhea (guest star Teri Hatcher) has an interesting proposal for Lena (Katie McGrath). Rob Greenlea directed the episode written by Eric Carrasco & Greg Baldwin.

The Flash - "I Know Who You Are"

VIBE FACES OFF AGAINST KILLER FROST – Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team meet Tracy Brand (guest star Anne Dudek), a scientist, who may be the key to stopping Savitar. Unfortunately, Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) is also after Tracy so Team Flash must battle their old friend, which proves to be particularly difficult for Cisco (Carlos Valdes). Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cecile’s (guest star Danielle Nicolet) relationship takes a big turn. Hanelle Culpepper directed the episode written by Bronwen Clark & Joshua V. Gilbert.

Arrow - "Underneath"

OLIVER AND FELICITY ARE TRAPPED — Things get intense when Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) are trapped in the bunker together. Meanwhile, Lyla (guest star Audrey Marie Anderson) and Diggle (David Ramsey) deal with their marital issues. Wendey Stanzler directed the episode written by Wendy Mericle & Beth Schwartz.

Am I the only one who's saddened by Caitlyn becoming Killer Frost?

@RaxusPrime - No. I have slacked on watching this since the beginning of season 2, but I really liked her character. So serious but good most of the time. That's why I really liked it when she had too much to drink at karaoke with Barry and let her hair down.

@The13thDoctor - She still could be Killer Frost but working for the good guys at the same time. They pulled that off wonderfully in Rebirth.

The next initiative on this website should be to work on the click-baity titles. "SYNOPSES FOR ARROW FLASH AND SUPERGIRL TEASE AN UNLEASHED BIG BAD AND MORE!" insinuates that Killer Frost is the next big bad to connect the shows together.

"But AND MORE clearly leaves it open that these could be separate episodes!"

How could that be? There is nothing else in the title to insinuate anything else about these being separate events.

For those of us who watch only Flash of these 3, it's TOO click-baity and a disappointment. I understand the need for clicks to keep this page running, I get it, but there are some contributors on this site who are much better at preparing headlines that don't make clickers feel like a snake is slithering against their skin.

I think that if we can roll out an initiative to remove trolling, we should be able to also increase user experience by not purposely misleading them. Bait clicks with real information. Be a reporter. Feel that thrill for a reason. The titles on this site anymore just make me want to hit the news tab of my google browser instead. And I generally come to this site exclusively for news.

Take it or a leave it, but I am a marketing expert in multiple aspects of my life, and I run my own website and am accomplished for building brands, websites, podcasts, self-publishing books, promoting poems, and even rebuilding a multi-billion dollar used car and finance franchise in their marketing efforts. I don't much care to throw around accomplishments, I simply care to show you that I'm not talking through my hindquarters.

I've been on this site as long as I can remember. It just feels like with every click on something like this, there is a disconnect between contributer and reader and it drives me away (and I NEVER complained about the NEXT button). And if we can't speak out mind about injustice, where are we anyways, America?

@JacuzziJoe - And you can take that to the bank! Oh...wait...I've never read anything in those articles that are guarantees.

I completely agree with you here. I've made a few comments in @joshwilding articles before about his misleading headlines as well.

The articles themselves are well written, but it's just the disconnect in the headline that makes you feel like you didn't get what you clicked on it for. I used to read virtually every article on this site, but with his misleading headlines it's turned me off to ready a good portion of his.

I agree since the initiative of cleaning up the trolls is in place there should be an initiative to improve the quality on the site as well. I've never directly complained about the NEXT button that I can recall, but over time I lost interest because a good chunk of them were his opinion versus data to support the article.

In summation @joshwilding would you please work on your wording in your headlines that support what is in the article?

Thanks!

Wow the Arrow episode sounds so boring, I may not even watch it. Oliver and Felicity are trapped in a bunker and Diggle and his wife are dealing with marital issues....WTF???? I thought this was a superhero show, not a daytime soap opera. What the hell happened to that show? They really need new blood on the writing team. This having 1 villain all season is boring as hell. And the flashbacks are terrible, boring and terrible. There are hundreds of villains and heroes they can bring in to make episodes exciting and instead they continue to bore us with 1 villain and terrible flashbacks. I am starting to think they should just cancel it and bring in a new show...maybe Teen Titans or Outsiders or even better....Justice League Dark.

@hipnosis - If they are still planning a JLD movie (and I have read some talk of that), they likely not going to bring it to TV. I wish DCTV would steal out of the Marvel playbook and do something more like the Marvel Netflix series. I've enjoyed some of what they have done on CW, but it would be so much better if they would make leave behind some of the mellow drama (intentional misspelling) of the CW network behind. I also agree with the whole season arcs. They could tell stories that are longer than one or two episodes, but get away from the one villain formula. One or two seasons it could be interesting, but to make it the series formula means that they have to force reasons to make it work rather than having a story that naturally calls for it.

@hipnosis - Of course Legion is another example of how to do a really good CBTV series as well.

@hipnosis - This sounds important (in a CW way) as well.
"Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Cecile’s (guest star Danielle Nicolet) relationship takes a big turn."
Wow! Like I needed that in a superhero show synopsis.
MeAreLegend
MeAreLegend - 4/14/2017, 7:52 AM
@tugboy - Exactly! Nobody actually ever cared about their relationship. Them mentioning this, basically means that we need to skip this episode because something as minor and boring as their relationship is going to play a big part in this episode.

I really just want the series to get back to Season 1 Quality and I want my Harrison Wells Reverse Flash back!

@RolandD - Or like Agents of Shield where you have multiple villains throughout different story arcs in the show (Ghost Rider Story, Life Model Decoy, Hydra VR etc)

@hipnosis - Teen Titans would never work. We can't get Robin (or Nightwing), Aqualad wouldn't happen, Wonder Girl wouldn't happen, Cyborg wouldn't happen, there's no budget for Raven or Beast Boy, Starfire probably wouldn't happen.

They have been dragging savitars identity far too long, starting to not care about his identitty at all. I hope the wait will be worth it!

(Its probably going to be future barry)

I think Supergirl's could've picked up a much better title. But anyway I believe that there will be good performances from Melissa Benoist and Floriana Lima given their chemistry and care for Chyler's Alex. I just hope that the kidnapper is someone with some background from the comics and the prisoner awaiting release as well. Who knows, this "notorious" criminal might be Lex.

I am betting the part with Rhea and Lena is set up as the cliffhanger of the previous episode and it continues in this one. And wherever Rhea is, her son Mon-El must be nearby.

The Flash sounds great and shows they aren't going to rush the Killer Frost subarc. I think that if Killer Frost attacks them at STAR Labs looking to take Tracy with her it could lead to her pulling an Elsa-level of snowstorm that freezes the entire building & Flash and Kid Flash will have to take everyone out before they end up frozen. Kinda like the train rescue scene from S2 when Captain Cold messed the train. And I think Joe might ask his gf to move in with her.

Arrow sounds boring-ish but who knows, passive episodes in this Season have surprised before and I think this will be a character or relationship deconstruction for both of them.

Unless the CW stuff really picks up for these last few episodes, I'll be saying goodbye to them. Their seems to be a running trait that they start to slip around the 3rd season, but who knows, maybe it will change.

God, all you people do is complain about Olicity and how long the seasons are. Smh, It gets so annoying. I try to avoid the comments and have even avoided commenting for a whole two years now, but I just had to come and say that. I have no problem with anything on the shows. I love them all and love the long seasons. I like the Netflix shows, well only "Luke Cage" and "Iron Fist" tbh, but the short seasons disappoint me. I'd rather a bunch of filler episodes so I can have something to watch instead of it ending so quick. I honestly hate binge-watching and prefer a weekly format. I'm 29 though, so maybe that's why. Technology has only served to make people lazy it seems. Smh, Anyway, people can never enjoy anything with fans like you all around. There are people out there who love the Olicity stuff. If you boycott or try to petition to get that removed, they'll lose interest. What would be a win for you all will be a huge disappointment for others. Shows can't be action 24/7. We need that romantic drama and just drama period to show these people can be vulnerable. To each their own, but I for one am sick of the complaints 24/7. Watch or don't watch. If you do watch, shut-up with the nitpicking. ✌
