Only one more episode of The Flash to go before 2016 comes to a close, and it looks to be a doozy with the return of Savitar. Luckily for Barry, this time he has the added support of Earth-3's Jay Garrick - but, will the two speedsters be enough to take down a God? Guess we'll find out next week.

Meanwhile, the episode promises to be an eventful one as Wally reaches the next step in his superhero training and an old wound is reopened for Cisco.

Check out the extended promo for next week's midseason finale, titled "The Present," below:

"The Present" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (Content Rating TBD) (HDTV)

BARRY SEEKS HELP FROM JAY GARRICK - With Alchemy and Savitar still looming threats, Barry (Grant Gustin) is unable to focus on the Christmas holiday, and especially his relationship with Iris (Candice Patton). Determined to stop Savitar, Barry goes to Earth-3 to get advice from Jay Garrick (guest star John Wesley Shipp). Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to help Barry fight Savitar and reveals that he's been training with H.R. (Tom Cavanagh), which doesn't go over well with Barry. As Cisco (Carlos Valdes) faces his first Christmas without his brother Dante (guest star Nicholas Gonzalez), old wounds are reopened. Rachel Talalay directed the episode with story by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing and teleplay by Lauren Certo (#309). Original airdate 12/6/2016.

Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom's game and uncovers the evil speedster's true goal: to destroy all the earths in the multiverse. In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick
Tom Felton as Julian Dorn

Crossover ep was really enjoyable, but I can't be the only one who's noticed a major decline in this show's quality since mid season 2. It's become all too predictable and just frustrating to watch (Wally whining like a little bitch for 8 episodes straight, the anti-climax of the Killer Frost storyline, ANOTHER speedster being the season's big bad). I really want to enjoy this show, but I can't if this ends up going the Arrow route.

I think Julian is going to frame Barry for a crime and we'll see Barry in jail. Also think it's possible Oliver comes out of his Laurel dream feeling in love with Laurel again. And Barry decides to tell Oliver about Earth 2 Laurel in Team Flash's holding cell.

Last night's episode was really great. I really hope they make a bluray/dvd of the 4 way crossover minus supergirl as that was not really a crossover.

So....When is Barry going to hit that. Also....Idk about anyone else....but I'd like to see a DC/CW TV wedding for Barry and Iris. That would be cool.
