New Arrowverse Synopses Tease The LEGENDS Finale, Kevin Smith's Episode Of THE FLASH, And More

Synopses for upcoming episodes of Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow have been released today and as well as teasing some hero vs. hero battles, things for the Legends are about to reach a head...

The CW has released a number of synopses for DC TV episodes airing during the second week of April and things will kick off with the season finale of Legends of Tomorrow (which means Supergirl is finally coming back). That will see the team return to the Old West for a team-up with Jonah Hex but it's also been confirmed that Jax - who left the team - and John Constantine will be making an appearance.

In The Flash, it sounds like the Scarlet Speedster will clash with The Elongated Man in an episode directed by Kevin Smith, while things aren't going well for Oliver Queen in Arrow as he takes his frustrations out on Felicity and his son, William. It's hard to imagine that ending well for the vigilante but he has been under an awful lot of pressure and it sounds like that's about to get even worse.

Legends of Tomorrow - "The Good, the Bad and the Cuddly"

The Legends’ plan to vanquish Mallus by using the totems doesn’t go as planned, forcing Rip (guest star Arthur Darvill) to improvise. The team finds itself regrouping in the Wild West where they run into their old pal Jonah Hex (guest star Johnathon Schaech). Sara (Caity Lotz) leaves Ray (Brandon Routh) in charge of watching Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough), while she comes up with a new plan. Meanwhile, Amaya (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) is determined to find a way to use the totems to destroy Mallus. Dominic Purcell, Tala Ashe, Keiynan Lonsdale, Nick Zano and Franz Drameh also star. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Phil Klemmer (#318).

The Flash - "Null and Annoyed"

Barry (Grant Gustin) and Ralph (guest star Hartley Sawyer) take different approaches to finding the remaining bus metas before DeVoe gets to them. However, Ralph’s cavalier attitude frustrates Barry and the two clash over what it means to be a hero. Meanwhile, Breacher (guest star Danny Trejo) returns to ask Cisco (Carlos Valdes) for a favor. Kevin Smith directed the episode written by Lauren Certo & Kristen Kim.

Arrow - "Fundamentals"

In his darkest place yet, Oliver (Stephen Amell) wonders if he has failed at everything – being a father, a mayor and a hero. His frustration rising, Oliver lashes out at Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and William (guest star Jack Moore). A surprising visit from an old friend has Oliver questioning his next move. Ben Bray directed the episode written by Speed Weed & Emilio Ortega Aldrich.

Which of these episodes are you most excited about? Are you expecting the Legends of Tomorrow finale to deliver? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

@dracula - That would require intelligent writers. Or even moderately smart ones

@Kevwebsz - Well the show is basically Justice League International, so would be nice to have a few Justice League International members on the team. Also people like OMAC, Kamandi, Big Barda, and Mister Miracle, were created by Jack Kirby, his creations could fit perfectly into the Legends style, plus if they go classic OMAC, instead of Buddy Blank they could make Gary OMAC

@ImmortalCipher - Figure Lady Shiva and David Cain would make good big bads for season 7. Since Thea probably is leaving the show it might be a good time to introduce a new archer, they could do Arrowette, or Emiko Queen, or they could just do Mia Dearden, Thea is the shows version of her, but we also had another Black Canary with Dinah Drake, so they could just do a straight up Mia Dearden. Godspeed, they need to wait a few year until he has a few more stories they can take from, use him as big bad, also they should do at least 1 more season without a speedster villain. Legends is basically JLI, so might as well add some JLI members For Power Girl they should go the JLU rought and make her a big bad, have Cadmus clone supergirl. Black Lightning doesnt have many villains, so Milestone is the perfect place to take from, introduce static in season 2, and use Holocaust and Blood Syndicate as big bads

@dracula - It's already been confirmed that Lois will be appearing on Supergirl. Also, do we really want to see Darkseid after what Smallville did with him? And Flash has had versions of Mirror Master and Captain Boomerang, no need to have more. And for the love of God, NO MORE SPEEDSTERS.

Adam Strange is on Krypton, so it's HIGHLY unlikely he'd ever be part of the CW unless Krypton's cancelled. Same with Brainiac. Superboy's part of Titans so he'd never be on Supergirl. And why would we want Fire when we already have Heat Wave? One uses a gun, one's a meta, same end result. Mr. Terrific's also on Arrow and I highly doubt he's a character people would want to see more of.

@GAThrawnIGF -
Darkseid: the Arrowverse has already done a few characters better than Smallville, and anything would be better than a cloud.
Captain Boomerang: The first one is dead, and only appeared in Arrow episodes, plus Owen Mercer would be a good role for Michael Rosenbaum.
Godspeed: Eventually they will do another speedster, and like i said, wait a few years.
Braniac: I figure either he or Darkseid could work as the final season big bad.
Fire: If they ever use her, do it when Heatwave eventually leaves.
Mr.Terrific: We got Wally on Legends, and Mr.Terrific is the only Arrow character who would fit Legends

While we're talking about the CW, here's a little bit of Amell's activity on Twitter.

@AC1 - As cool as that would be, I think it's Nyssa Al Ghul (btw I'm pretty sure I butchered the spelling but I hope you know what I mean)

@mayhem101878 - oh yeah, heard she was making a comeback. That's pretty cool, did she and Oliver actually ever get divorced or does he technically have two wives now?
GAThrawnIGF
GAThrawnIGF - 3/23/2018, 8:33 AM
@AC1 - Pretty sure their "wedding" was never really legally binding to begin with. Even a justice of the peace would have said "GTFO" to their request.

Also still kind of hoping this stuff Oliver is going through at home causes him and Felicity to split up permanently, and maybe for he and Dinah to turn to each other for support while they're both going through shit.
HeavyMetal4Life
HeavyMetal4Life - 3/23/2018, 8:46 AM
@AC1 - why?? Dinah has become a complete b*tch and she and Oliver are about as far on the spectrum from each other as they can be. Oliver is too mature for Dinah. Whether people like it or not, Oliver and Felicity are meant to be together. This is Arrow, not a comic book.
