Barry Allen has finally returned from the Speed Force but is there more to that than meets the eye? He couldn't offer an explanation in regards to why his memory came back in the season four premiere of The Flash so we'll have to wait and see whether or not that will be addressed somewhere down the line but this trailer provides an exciting glimpse at what comes next for the heroic Scarlet Speedster.

Also in this trailer is a new look at the villainous Thinker after he made his small screen debut in the final few minutes of last night's episode. However, the spotlight here is placed firmly on Barry and Iris.

Things clearly aren't going to go smoothly for the newly engaged couple and it will be interesting seeing how that impacts their adventures moving forward. She's clearly going to become a much larger part of Team Flash regardless! Below, you'll also find an extended promo for next week's instalment of The CW series. The first episode had the worst CGI ever.... felt like a 90s tv show.

I forgot how much I hated Iris. I'm sure come Thursday I'll be reminded why I hate Felicity too. Wasn't feeling the premiere. Hopefully arrows is better.

The lenses actually make a lot of sense. With the speeds the Flash is running, he should nearly be blinded by the air and dust rushing into his face.


But couldn't they have made them white?

@KWilly - Not really, his body is able to deal with the extreme forces associated with his speed bc of his connection to the speed force basically allows him to bend the laws of physics. If it didnt he would just burst into flames if he ran too fast or explode if he tripped and ran into something. The only reason he really hascthe suit is bc its the only thing that doesn't break down when he gets to his top speeds so it doesn't really make sense that he would need lenses

I think im done with this show, it had a good run. Season 1 was incredible but its just nothing now. This was the last of the DC shows I still watched (Arrow i stopped at season 4 just before the finale, Legends of Tomorrow I made it like 3 episodes, and Supergirl i made it one episode into and it was horrendous) but I just cant do it anymore its devolved into nonsense. Maybe if these showrunners focused on actually keeping these shows going rather than making a new series every year theyd be better but the Berlanti/Gugegnheim/Kreisberg team is just a script mill at this point

Wow y'all pretty moody today. Barry and Iris are an iconic couple from DC that have as much history as Clark and Lois have so obviously their bond is going to have focus.

Barry is just having fun with his rebirth as seen there where he is dancing and singing in the morning. You were all tired of "brooding" Barry and now you are all complaining? Decide already.

Can't wait for next week. As for the lenses I bet most of the upgrades will be cast away after next week's episode when it all malfunctions and Barry just goes for using his recharged powers alone.

Yeah..poor episode. Poor ass explanation as to how he suddenly just came too and remembered to save IRIS...i watched this high and still couldnt excuse it
Not sure why we havent mentioned Caitlins poor ass acting before?!? Pretty terrible....Cisco was just too cisco in this ep...dial it back bro.
Is Kid Flash ever gonna hit the gym?? That suits falling off him and plus it sounds like the guys got a constant cold.
Also..BA with the whole rhyming shizz...yuck guys..just yuck.
