While the DCTV crossover is being touted as a four-part event, it seems like the actual superheroic team-up festivities will begin on the second night of the week with The Flash.

Barry will be the one tasked with recruiting the heroes from their various locations, starting off with the Green Arrow & Diggle in Star City. However, when that proves to be not enough firepower against the Dominators, the duo traverse through time to locate the Legends of Tomorrow and then Barry & Cisco head off to another Earth to bring back the most powerful hero on the roster, Supergirl!

Check out the new synopsis below:

IT’S HEROES VS. ALIENS IN THIS EPIC CROSSOVER EVENT — When aliens called the Dominators attack Central City, Barry (Grant Gustin) speeds over to Star City to ask the Green Arrow (guest star Stephen Amell) for help in stopping them. Realizing the battle against the Dominators is bigger than they thought, they track down the Legends of Tomorrow, and Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) create a breach to bring back a secret weapon – Supergirl (guest star Melissa Benoist). Once all of the super friends are assembled, they come up with a plan to attack but a shocking secret related to Flashpoint is revealed and suddenly no one is sure who they can trust. Meanwhile, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) wants to join the battle against the aliens but Iris (Candice Patton) tells him he’s not ready. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Greg Berlanti & Andrew Kreisberg and teleplay by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#308). Original airdate 11/29/2016.

Blinded by anger, Barry unwittingly plays into Zoom's game and uncovers the evil speedster's true goal: to destroy all the earths in the multiverse. In the face of his life, Barry ultimately gets the upper hand against Zoom and defeats his nemesis. But unable to celebrate victory, Barry makes a world-shaking decision and speeds back in time to the night his mother died to stop Reverse Flash from killing her, irrevocably changing his past and redetermining his future.

I have to be honest, the Arrow-verse shows have been losing me lately. Hoping this cross-over is good and injects a bit of hype into these things.

I'm going to try to get caught up on these shows, except for Supergirl, before this crossover. That's like 50 hours of TV though, so it probably won't happen.

I'm really looking forward to this crossover. Hope it's better then the crap we got last season with the Hawks

This show has steadily lost my interest since the latter half of season 2. I'll probably watch these crossover episodes and be done with it after that.

Can't wait to check this crossover out. I liked Supergirl and Flash season 1 and 2. Shame to hear season 3 of Flash isn't as good. I want it to be good. I really hope it can pick it up and get great again. I enjoyed Legends of Tomorrow too hope we get a TV Justice League

When Cisco and Barry eventually take Kara home, I hope that something happens where they get detoured onto a Earth and they run into him.
